Sr SDET - Performance Testing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr SDET – Performance Testing based in India.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) specializing in performance testing to strengthen the quality, scalability, and reliability of a large-scale, cloud-based platform. In this role, you will lead performance engineering initiatives, establish testing standards, and ensure critical services remain resilient under demanding workloads. You will design and implement automated performance testing frameworks, define performance benchmarks, and integrate regression testing into CI/CD pipelines. Working across distributed systems, microservices, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure, you will identify bottlenecks and drive meaningful improvements. You will collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to translate performance insights into actionable technical solutions. This is an opportunity to take technical ownership, mentor other engineers, and influence performance engineering practices within a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
