Senior Software Engineer, (OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor) based in Brazil.

We are seeking a highly experienced software engineer to evaluate the quality of interactions produced by advanced AI coding agents. Rather than developing production software, you will apply your engineering expertise to assess how tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor reason, communicate, and guide developers through real-world technical challenges. You will examine the usefulness of explanations, the quality of technical judgment, and the overall developer experience. Your feedback will help establish clear standards for what excellent AI-assisted software engineering should look like. This opportunity is suited to senior-level engineers with strong technical instincts, a critical eye, and the ability to communicate nuanced assessments. The engagement is fully remote, flexible, and project-based.
