About the Role:

As a Cybersecurity Advisor, (Specialist) you will provide tactical and operational cybersecurity guidance across Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. Working as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert within the global Cybersecurity team, you will influence secure technology solutions, assess and help remediate cyber risk, strengthen governance practices, and support compliance obligations. Based remotely in Brazil and reporting within the Americas structure, you will collaborate with technical, operational, engineering, and business stakeholders across regions, including occasional meetings outside standard local business hours.

Other Responsibilities Include:

• Provide cybersecurity guidance and assurance for system implementations, upgrades, digital transformation initiatives, and secure-by-design decisions across IT and OT environments.
• Review and influence security architecture across cloud, applications, industrial control systems, SCADA, IoT, industrial networks, Zero Trust, Identity and Access Management, data protection, and AI governance.
• Conduct threat modeling, security design reviews, and risk assessments for projects, vendors, business systems, and operational technologies, recommending practical mitigation and remediation actions.
• Support cyber risk management and incident readiness, including mitigation planning, incident response preparation, post-incident reviews, audits, compliance evidence, and continuous improvement.
• Advise on security policies, standards, procedures, and governance frameworks, aligning recommendations with customer needs and recognized practices such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and collaborative working environment by identifying and communicating risks, supporting speak-up and stop-work decisions when conditions or controls are unclear, and following through on agreed actions.

What You Can Bring to the Role:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, STEM, or a related field, or a degree supported by equivalent depth of cybersecurity experience.
• Significant cybersecurity or information security experience across both IT and OT environments, gained in any industry; industrial, manufacturing, or highly regulated environments are advantageous.
• Demonstrated capability across at least two relevant domains, such as cloud security, Identity and Access Management or Zero Trust, data protection or DLP, and AI governance, supported by knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO, or comparable standards.
• Proven ability to advise internal customers, translate technical cyber risk into business risk, support incident response and risk-based decisions, and influence secure outcomes in complex or decentralized organizations.
• Strong English communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a global team, with flexibility for occasional meetings across time zones and regional travel when required.
• A strong personal commitment to safe and ethical work, including risk awareness, clear communication of concerns, respect for confidentiality, and the judgment to pause or escalate work when controls or conditions are uncertain; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are advantageous.
