<h3><span style="font-size: 14pt;">ABOUT THE ROLE</span></h3>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As a Senior Software Engineer on Cloud Storage, you will join the core team responsible for the data backbone of our platform. We are looking for a platform-minded engineer to build and operate an ecosystem that encompasses everything from SQL (Aurora, RDS Postgres, SQL Server) and key-value stores (Redis/Valkey, DynamoDB) to Search Engines (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Apache Solr), Object Storage (S3), and network file storage (EFS).</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">You will work in a squad of infrastructure and software engineers, acting as a true Platform Engineering team. The mission is not just to keep the databases running flawlessly, but to drastically increase developer velocity. You will achieve this by building autonomous "storage-as-a-service" environments, creating self-service tooling, and maintaining the integration libraries, proxies, and SDKs that allow our product squads to ship features faster and with confidence.</span></p>

<h3><span style="font-size: 14pt;">WHAT YOU WILL DO</span></h3>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Build the Storage Platform:</strong> Design, build, and operate the services, proxies, and automation behind our SQL, NoSQL, Search, and Object Storage offerings, applying software engineering principles to operations.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Scale the Data Layer:</strong> Work on sharding, replication, capacity planning, Multi-AZ resilience, and large-scale migrations (e.g., SQL Server from Windows to Linux) in a high-volume, multi-tenant environment.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Build for Developer Velocity:</strong> Treat infrastructure as a product. Build integration libraries, APIs, IaC modules, and "golden paths" that reduce cognitive load for developers and accelerate product delivery.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Ensure Extreme Reliability:</strong> Own high availability, performance, and resilience across the data layers: take part in on-call, drive incident follow-ups, and define SLOs and burn-rate alerts.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Eliminate Toil:</strong> Identify operational bottlenecks and replace manual requests with automated, self-service solutions.</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Senior IC:</strong> You are a Senior Software Engineer (L3 level) with a proven track record of delivering complex technical projects end to end, from design to production, and raising the bar for the engineers around you.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Domain Expert:</strong> You have deep, hands-on experience dealing with massive scale across diverse data engines: Relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, Aurora, SQL Server), NoSQL (e.g., Redis/Valkey, DynamoDB), Search (e.g., Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr), and Object Storage, including performance tuning and production troubleshooting.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Product-Minded:</strong> You understand that your customers are other developers. You have experience building integration libraries, IaC modules, or internal developer platforms.</span></li>
