<p><strong>The role</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a New Business Director to lead and scale new logo acquisition across the DACH region.</p>
<p>This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing go-to-market strategy, building high-quality pipeline, and leading a high-performing sales team.</p>
<p>You’ll combine strategic leadership with hands-on deal engagement, driving complex, high-value opportunities while embedding modern, AI-enabled sales practices.</p>
<p><strong>Role Responsibilities </strong></p>
<p><strong>Revenue & Growth Leadership</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own and deliver regional new business revenue targets</li>
<li>Build and sustain a high-quality, scalable pipeline</li>
<li>Personally lead and support strategic, high-value deals</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Go-to-Market Strategy</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Define and execute the DACH new logo strategy, aligned to regional priorities</li>
<li>Identify priority industries, target accounts, and growth plays</li>
<li>Continuously refine approach using market insight, data, and AI-driven intelligence</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Sales Leadership & Execution</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and inspire a high-performing new business team</li>
<li>Drive a disciplined, end-to-end sales process with consistent execution</li>
<li>Embed AI into the sales lifecycle (targeting, account planning, outreach, pipeline insights, forecasting)</li>
<li>Ensure strong pipeline health, conversion, and accurate forecasting</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Client Engagement & Deal Leadership</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Build C-level relationships across key industries (FS, Retail, Manufacturing, Life Sciences)</li>
<li>Lead consultative, value-based sales engagements</li>
<li>Position Valtech as a strategic partner in digital and AI-driven transformation</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Ecosystem & Collaboration</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with marketing and delivery teams to drive aligned growth</li>
<li>Leverage strategic partners (Adobe, Salesforce, Sitecore, Optimizely, hyperscalers) including joint AI-led propositions</li>
<li>Represent Valtech externally across industry events and networks</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Must have experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven senior sales leadership experience in a digital consultancy / agency environment</li>
<li>Strong track record of winning new logos and delivering significant revenue growth</li>
<li>Experience leading and scaling high-performing sales teams</li>
<li>Expertise in selling complex, enterprise digital transformation programmes</li>
<li>Strong DACH network with access to senior decision-makers</li>
<li>Practical understanding of AI in sales and client solutions</li>
<li>Excellent consultative selling, coaching, and stakeholder management skills</li>
<li>Commercially driven, with ownership of multi-million € targets</li>
<li>Ideally fluent in German and English</li>
