This is a working manager role for a highly creative, hands-on designer who can lead a team of two designers while continuing to personally create high-quality work. You will shape integrated campaigns across social media, web, email, events, presentations, and other marketing channels.</p> <p>The role goes beyond static graphic design. You will create social visuals, website experiences, animations, video and motion assets, and cohesive campaign systems that scale across channels.&nbsp;AI will be a core part of how you work. You will use emerging tools for image generation, video, animation, prototyping, and design production while applying traditional design tools and hands-on craft when they produce a better result.</p> <h2>As a Design Manager, You Will...</h2> <h3>Lead Integrated Campaign Design</h3> <p>Own creative development across social media, web, email, events, presentations, and marketing collateral.</p> <h3>Create High-Quality Visual Work</h3> <p>Personally design and produce social creative, website experiences, animations, video, motion graphics, and other campaign assets.</p> <h3>Lead and Develop Designers</h3> <p>Manage a team of two designers by providing creative direction, feedback, support, and professional development.</p> <h3>Build with AI</h3> <p>Use AI tools to accelerate ideation, experimentation, iteration, and production without sacrificing originality, brand consistency, or quality.</p> <h3>Translate Complex Ideas</h3> <p>Partner with marketing teams to turn complex AI concepts into distinctive, compelling creative.</p> <h3>Build Scalable Creative Systems</h3> <p>Develop cohesive campaign systems and visual frameworks that can be adapted across channels and reused across campaigns.</p> <h2>The Anti-Sell</h2> <p>Hands-on design leadership: This is not a role for someone who only directs the work of others. You will be expected to personally design and produce high-quality creative.</p> <p>Breadth of creative execution: The role requires more than static graphic design. You should be comfortable working across web, social, motion, video, animation, presentations, and campaign collateral.</p> <p>AI-enabled craft: AI tools will be a core part of the workflow, but strong judgment and design craft remain essential. You must know when AI can accelerate the work and when traditional tools or hands-on execution will produce a better result.</p> <p>High creative bar: The quality of your portfolio matters more than years of experience.
