<h2>JOB DESCRIPTION</h2>
<p>We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team at the Mississauga facility. As a Junior Project Manager, you will work with our highly talented team to manage state-of-the-art and innovative projects for our customers.</p>
<h2>ROLE & RESPONSIBILITES</h2>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate engineering projects from quotation through engineering, manufacturing, and completion.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables while monitoring project progress, identifying risks, escalating issues appropriately, and identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and delivery.</li>
<li>Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and other internal staff to support timely project delivery.</li>
<li>Serve as a primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle, managing inquiries, meetings, updates, and correspondence while communicating project timelines, deliverables and changes clearly and proactively to internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Facilitate communication between customers and engineering teams without independent technical design responsibility.</li>
<li>Identify scope creep, potential cost overruns, and impacts to project margins or timelines to support customer quotations, project estimates, and initial financial baselines.</li>
<li>Ensure component selections and requirements remain within approved Bill of Materials (BOM) and quoted limits.</li>
<li>Track shipping information, serial numbers, documentation, and other project deliverables.</li>
<li>Coordinate resolution of shipping, procurement, manufacturing, and other operational issues.</li>
<li>Apply project management principles to technical projects.</li>
</ul>
<h2>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h2>
<p>This position will be compensated according to qualifications</p>
<ul>
<li>Post-secondary degree in Engineering Technology, Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>0–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, client/project administration, operations, or a related role.</li>
<li>CAPM, PMP, or other project management certification is considered an asset.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Altium CAD software is considered an asset.</li>
<li>Knowledge of electrical/electronics design is considered an asset.</li>
<li>Proficiency with <strong>Microsoft Office</strong>, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.</li>
<li>Proven ability to support projects from initiation through completion, including scheduling, tracking deliverables, monitoring budgets, maintaining documentation, and coordinating project activities.</li>
<li>Experience managing multiple projects or competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.</li>
<li>Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues before they affect project timelines or deliverables.</li>
<li>Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, technical staff, clients, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.</li>
<li>Ability to prepare project status reports, meeting materials, schedules, budgets, presentations, and other project documentation.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues to the Engineering Lead.</li>
<li>This role requires excellent communication, organizational, time-management, interpersonal, and leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.</li>
