<h3>Typical Project Details:</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Project Focus</strong>: You will be a Software Quality Assurance Analyst following Agile methodologies, mostly focused on API testing.</li>
<li><strong>Project Duration</strong>: Contracts can be temporary, ranging from 6 months to 1 year, or ongoing. Many temporary projects extend beyond their initial term, and some evolve into ongoing contractor opportunities. </li>
<li><strong>Location</strong>: This job ad is open to candidates in select countries who are comfortable working in a fully remote setup. Countries we are considering consist of Argentina, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, Estonia, India, Ireland, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, or the United States.</li>
<li><strong>Schedule</strong>: Opportunities are available for both part-time and full-time contracts. Working hours generally follow day or afternoon schedules based on your regional time zone.</li>
<li><strong>Timezone</strong>: While we support flexible work, most roles align with standard daytime hours in their region (e.g., 9 AM–6 PM). For instance, this may mean Central Standard Time (CST) in the Americas or Central European Time (CET) in EMEA. Please ensure your availability aligns with your region’s core hours.</li>
<li><strong>Required Devices</strong>: You must have access to an Android or iOS mobile device for testing.</li>
<li><strong>Internet Connection</strong>: A reliable, high-speed internet connection is required for testing and team communications. Mobile hotspots and other unstable or limited connections are not suitable.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What Your Day Looks Like</h3>
<ul>
<li>Design and execute smoke, scripted, and exploratory test cases on mobile, web and desktop.</li>
<li>Conduct functional, localization, regression, and payments testing to ensure software meets quality standards.</li>
<li>Report, reproduce, and track issues found during testing.</li>
<li>Document and share test results, including bugs and potential risks.</li>
<li>Analyze test results, logs, and related data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.</li>
<li>Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align on goals, timelines, and deliverables.</li>
<li>Communicate test progress, issues, and risks clearly and proactively with stakeholders.</li>
<li>Generate test reports that provide actionable insights.</li>
<li>Design and execute API tests using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.</li>
<li>Create, maintain, and review test cases and test suites aligned with business priorities and industry best practices.</li>
<li>Design and optimize effective test data.</li>
<li>Ensure the test library remains relevant by refactoring, updating, and deprecating tests as needed.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the systems under test.</li>
<li>Stay up to date with trends and advancements in software testing tools and methodologies.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What You’ll Need to Succeed</h3>
<p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience (2+ years) as a QA Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools (such as JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail, Xray or similar.)</li>
<li>Experience with mobile and web applications, frontend and backend testing (including API testing.)</li>
<li>Proficiency in identifying and documenting software bugs and issues.</li>
<li>Ability to solve technical tasks required during testing - such as test data generation, log capturing and basic analysis, working with browser developer tools, network logs analyzers, etc.</li>
<li>Experience in working in agile teams in a remote environment - proven track record of communication and collaboration with different stakeholders such as Scrum Masters, Product Owners and others.</li>
<li>Good knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps, as well as an understanding of test automation principles in effective SDLC.</li>
</ul>
