<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">As a Staff Software Engineer at Super, you will operate far beyond the scope of a single team or service, working directly with senior engineering leadership to tackle large, cross-area technical challenges that span dozens — sometimes hundreds — of services across the platform. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of architecture, strategy, and execution, suited to someone who thrives on complex systems and ambiguous problems. You will help shape technical direction, guide major platform evolutions, and ensure our systems remain scalable, reliable, and efficient as we grow.</p>

<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Analyse complex system challenges and develop clear strategies for improving architecture, scalability, and platform efficiency</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Drive large cross-team initiatives from concept to execution, influencing decisions and aligning multiple teams</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Enhance system automation across scale, resiliency, and deployment</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Build and improve core platform components and shared libraries (AWS, Go, Erlang, Kafka) used across the organisation</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and drive platform-wide improvements</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Build on our cloud-native platform, enabling greater use of AWS technology to accelerate delivery, scale, and resiliency</li>

<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Experience engineering high-quality, highly scalable software</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Strong system design fundamentals, particularly in distributed systems</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Ability to analyse complex technical problems and develop clear strategies</li>
