<h3><strong>About the team</strong></h3>
<p>The Solutions Architecture (SA) Transformation team makes focused global investments that turn SA strategy and innovation into scalable capabilities—elevating technical excellence and compounding impact for SAs, users, and Stripe. We partner with global SA leadership, GTM, Product, and Engineering to bring strategy to life, develop better ways for SAs to work, and scale promising innovation from the field. We combine field and user insight, disciplined experimentation, and emerging technology to build durable capabilities that raise the bar for the global SA organization.</p>
<p>The team combines transformation program leadership with close, matrixed partnerships across AI Engineering and Demo Engineering. This leader will directly manage the team’s program-management leader and bring these groups together around shared priorities, clear operating mechanisms, and measurable outcomes.</p>
<h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2>
<p>As Manager of SA Transformation, you will set the vision, priorities, and operating model for a high-impact team responsible for turning strategy and innovation into durable, globally scalable capabilities. You will lead a group of program managers, and be second line leader to the leader for the AI Engineers, and Demo Engineers. You’ll coach the team through ambiguous, cross-functional work while staying close to the highest-leverage initiatives—from early signal and experimentation through launch, adoption, and long-term ownership. You will be a key strategic partner to SA leadership and leaders across GTM, Product, and Engineering, ensuring the transformation portfolio materially improves how SAs work and the outcomes they deliver for users.</p>
<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Set the strategy, priorities, and operating model for the SA Transformation team, translating SA, GTM, and Product direction into a focused portfolio of capabilities, experiments, and programs</li>
<li>Manage and develop the team, empowering them to lead day-to-day program execution while setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and building the organization’s long-term capabilities</li>
<li>Create an inclusive, high-performing team environment grounded in accountability, strong judgment, and a shared commitment to user impact</li>
<li>Identify recurring friction in SA workflows and design better tools, practices, and operating models that improve effectiveness and technical excellence across regions, segments, and motions</li>
<li>Build strong interlocks with Product, Product Operations, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Developer Relations, Enablement, and Operations so field insight informs strategy and promising ideas can earn global scale</li>
<li>Establish shared priorities and operating mechanisms across Transformation Programs, AI Engineering, and Demo Engineering, partnering with technical leaders and SA innovators to build and scale tools, demos, and automated workflows that measurably improve SA productivity and user outcomes</li>
<li>Use qualitative and quantitative evidence to identify organizational opportunities, expose tradeoffs, set portfolio priorities, and measure adoption and impact; establish clear ownership, governance, and support models so successful initiatives endure</li>

<h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>10+ years of experience in go-to-market program management, business operations, management consulting, or a related discipline</li>
<li>3+ years of experience directly managing and developing high-performing teams in program management, strategy, operations, product, engineering, or a comparable discipline, including experience managing through another people leader and maintaining accountability without taking over day-to-day execution</li>
<li>Track record of building high-performing teams through clear expectations, coaching, thoughtful work allocation, and performance management</li>
<li>Experience setting a team or portfolio strategy and translating broad organizational priorities into focused, measurable programs</li>
<li>End-to-end global delivery expertise in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with a strong ability to solve complex commercial, operational, and workflow challenges</li>
<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, adept at analyzing data, influencing across levels (IC to C-Suite), and aligning cross-functional teams around common objectives</li>
<li>Experience identifying, evaluating, and scaling AI or automation opportunities that produce measurable workflow or productivity improvements beyond basic prompt engineering</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Leadership experience in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, or a technical GTM transformation function</li>
<li>Domain expertise in fintech, financial services, payments, or regulated technology environments</li>
<li>Track record of scaling global GTM functions across AMER, EMEA, and APAC during periods of rapid growth</li>
<li>Experience taking ideas from field signal through experimentation, launch, adoption, and a durable long-term operating model </li>
