<p><strong>Opportunity</strong><br>We're hiring a Finance and Automation Manager to own our day-to-day accounting engine — ledgers, month-end/year-end close, tax-compliance oversight, AP, and payroll — and to build the tooling that makes finance faster. This is a player-coach role: you personally own key accounting areas <em>and</em> the automation build, while managing a team (3 today) to deliver the rest. You report to the Finance Transformation Manager and partner as a peer with the Controller.</p>
<p>The differentiator: you don't just have ideas about automation — <strong>you ship them</strong>. You can build and maintain internal finance tools end to end (dashboards, web apps, data pipelines) using AI vibe coding tools such as Claude Code and Copilot Pro.</p>
<p><strong>What you will do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own financials, month end close, ad-hoc reports and models, cash flow, budgeting processes.</li>
<li>Manage, coach, and develop an accounting team — balancing hands-on ownership with delegation.</li>
<li>Oversee AP and payroll delivered by the team</li>
<li>Own cash oversight: monitor position and upcoming outflows, and coordinate with banking partners.</li>
<li>Build and ship internal finance tooling end to end — dashboards, automations, and web apps with some internal support</li>
<li>Partner with the Finance Transformation Manager so accounting operations support strategic and high level decisions.</li>
<li>Act as the key point of accountability for accounting as the function scales.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong, hands-on technical accounting: ledgers, close, tax, AP, payroll.</li>
<li>Proven people leadership — managing and developing a small team (this is half the role).</li>
<li><strong>Demonstrated ability to independently build and ship finance tools, dashboards, or automations using AI vibe coding</strong> tools— portfolio or code sample expected. </li>
<li>US accounting-practice experience and exposure to US-based companies.</li>
<li>Comfortable holding release-level payment authority and the controls that come with it.</li>
<li>Experience with global, distributed, culturally diverse teams; fluent written and spoken English; high autonomy.</li>
<li>Latam-based preferred.</li>
