Recruiting Coordinator (Starbase) - Temporary

Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of&nbsp;enabling human life on Mars.</p></div><p><strong>RECRUITING COORDINATOR (STARBASE) - TEMPORARY</strong></p> <p>As a Recruiting Coordinator at SpaceX, you drive recruiting logistics, process efficiency, and partnership with recruiters and hiring teams for Starbase hiring. You will align with recruiters on candidate profiles, track hiring-program performance, support administrative hiring work, and participate in recruiting events or sourcing.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage recruiting logistics by coordinating between recruiters, recruiting coordinators, and the hiring team</li> <li>Partner with recruiters to align on the ideal candidate profile and help identify top talent through interview support, events, and sourcing as needed</li> <li>Process contractor conversions and support related hiring-process administration</li> <li>Drive program management to measure and track hiring efficiency for the assigned scope or core area of focus</li> <li>Learn about our business to the extent that you can speak intelligently about our programs with candidates and client groups</li> <li>Assist the recruiting team with special projects and administrative tasks throughout the hiring process</li> </ul> <p><strong>POSITION DETAILS:</strong></p> <p>This is a <strong><u>temporary</u></strong> position with SpaceX, for the length of time as stated, and is subject to change with minimal notice as business needs dictate.</p> <ul> <li>LENGTH OF POSITION: 6 months (permanent hire conversion based on performance and business need)</li> <li>LOCATION: Starbase, TX (requires being onsite - remote work not considered)</li> <li>SHIFT: standard business hours</li> </ul> <p><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree, or associate’s degree and 1+ years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or business operations</li> <li>Previous experience in a professional setting within recruiting, human resources, marketing, sales, or technology</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience as a recruiter and/or 1+ years of experience as a recruiting coordinator</li> <li>Experience with Greenhouse or another applicant tracking system</li> <li>Proficiency with MS Outlook and Microsoft Office tools</li> <li>Basic knowledge of personnel policy and procedure in accordance with federal and state laws regarding employment practices</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects, be flexible to change, and adapt to shifting priorities</li> <li>Team player with a high sense of urgency</li> <li>Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a strong passion to contribute to the team’s success</li> <li>Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, including senior management, on a 1:1 basis and in groups</li> <li>Capacity to learn and speak intelligently about our business and the space industry</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li> <li>Minimum GPA of 3.0</li> </ul> <p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Willing to work overtime as needed</li> <li>This role requires being onsite in Starbase, TX — remote work will not be considered</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>ITAR REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
