This role will focus on consumer metrics and insights, conducting research and reporting to support data-driven decisions that accelerate subscriber growth and enhance user value. Our ideal candidate is a proactive analyst with a blend of quantitative skills and curiosity for market dynamics, capable of turning complex data into actionable strategies for consumer retention.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li data-uuid="5fe15518-02fa-4fd0-b639-8ff50de24b50">Perform in-depth analyses of consumer metrics, including Lifetime Value (LTV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), churn rates, and cohort performance, using SQL queries and statistical methods to uncover trends and opportunities</li> <li data-uuid="f67ab58e-f005-4edd-ac56-52844a934322">Develop forecasting models for subscriber growth, revenue projections, and market penetration, incorporating external factors like competitive landscapes and economic indicators</li> <li data-uuid="c4c8f616-7fb7-41f4-b630-63452eded0a5">Create and maintain reporting dashboards and visualizations (e.g., using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for consumer acquisition, retention, and engagement</li> <li data-uuid="1668cd9b-cb6c-46d1-809b-2ebf64da874f">Conduct market research and price analysis, evaluating elasticity, competitive pricing, and promotional impacts to recommend optimizations that drive revenue and affordability</li> <li data-uuid="76110d0d-59df-4fd3-a60a-6a6fdaa87953">Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams to integrate insights into growth strategies, including A/B testing support and scenario planning</li> <li data-uuid="de4d7adb-3bbe-4013-86e8-9d333a1d7b2d">Identify data gaps and work with engineering teams to improve data collection for consumer use cases, ensuring robust datasets for ongoing analysis</li> <li data-uuid="de69be50-9771-489b-a06c-dcc9b381cf9d">Deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear, business-oriented recommendations that influence decision-making</li> <li data-uuid="4b983e7b-77c5-4be3-83bf-13b7c2d53e28">Support ad-hoc research projects, such as regional market assessments or emerging trends in broadband adoption, blending qualitative insights with quantitative rigor</li> </ul> <p><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li data-uuid="34b8f02c-9342-47c2-bb99-fde22d4d2be7">Bachelor's degree</li> <li data-uuid="daa475b6-3663-42ee-b739-2a241ae59657">2+ years of professional experience in business analytics, consulting, market research, or growth operations</li> <li data-uuid="aaef30f5-debc-4364-b84b-9d2943eb7d33">1+ years of experience with SQL and creating/managing dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker)</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <ul> <li data-uuid="b9691850-c49e-4a16-b535-8d6daf5163e2">Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field</li> <li data-uuid="7aa51cab-820a-4b2a-905f-cb3095675d27">Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization</li> <li data-uuid="632f078e-50f7-4ab2-b796-2cebcbf82931">Experience with forecasting, financial metrics (e.g., LTV, CAC), or pricing analysis</li> <li data-uuid="e5650b3e-093b-45b3-b135-1c57ef628e60">Proficiency in statistical modeling and forecasting techniques (e.g., time-series analysis, regression in Python or R)</li> <li data-uuid="946a2764-f399-4009-9921-04fb5bd9a2b7">Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, or automation scripting (e.g., Python, VBA)</li> <li data-uuid="29246847-ec76-4714-ae4d-21e1a8eaf357">Background in high-growth consumer tech environments, startups, or consulting firms with a focus on customer acquisition and retention</li> <li data-uuid="84124c9d-6979-4bc3-93a5-9623581aaa5a">Strong research skills, including familiarity with market intelligence tools (e.g., surveys, competitive analysis platforms)</li> <li data-uuid="ddb64063-2ef6-4c8d-8173-4dbb4ee1071d">Excellent communication abilities, with a track record of presenting insights to non-technical audiences and influencing cross-functional teams</li> <li data-uuid="186b1b3a-4446-487c-af4a-70a9e5f43258">Project management experience, including prioritizing tasks in fast-paced settings and collaborating with diverse stakeholders</li> </ul> <p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li data-uuid="9cbf98a9-472b-4ceb-83b4-f68fd133c613">Position may involve extended hours and weekend work as needed</li> <li data-uuid="8db93e15-6bfd-4421-9cdd-8f24bafdf0d1">This position may require travel between&nbsp;various SpaceX sites</li> </ul> <strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:</strong><br><br> Pay Range:<br> Level 1: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00<br>Level 2: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00<br><br> <p>Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.</p> <p>Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
