<p><strong>Location:</strong> Hsinchu, Taiwan</p>
<h2><strong>Role Overview</strong></h2>
<p>EverPure is seeking a highly experienced and strategic <strong>Senior Manager, Operations Engineering</strong> to lead regional engineering execution across APAC. This role serves as a critical bridge between product development, suppliers, and manufacturing partners, ensuring successful new product introduction (NPI), supplier quality performance, and manufacturing excellence.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will lead distributed engineering teams across the United States, Malaysia, and Vietnam, while acting as the primary Operations Engineering interface with Hsinchu-based teams during NPI phases. </p>
<p><strong>The role will have to be based in our partner location in Hsinchu, Taiwan. </strong></p>
<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>1. Regional Team Leadership</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead, develop, and scale a geographically distributed team of Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE), Manufacturing Quality Engineers (MQE), and Component Engineers across the United States, Malaysia, and Vietnam.</li>
<li>Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Build organizational capability to support evolving business and operational needs across APAC.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>2. NPI & Cross-Functional Leadership</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the primary Operations Engineering interface in Hsinchu, Taiwan for all NPI programs.</li>
<li>Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders, including R&D, Product Engineering, and Program Management, to ensure seamless product introduction and ramp.</li>
<li>Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) initiatives, ensuring early risk identification and mitigation.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>3. Supplier Quality & Component Engineering</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Own end-to-end supplier quality management, including supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Establish and enforce robust component engineering practices, including:</li>
<ul>
<li>Component selection and validation</li>
<li>Lifecycle management</li>
<li>Risk mitigation strategies (e.g., second sourcing, obsolescence planning)</li>
</ul>
<li>Lead supplier audits, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and yield improvement initiatives.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>4. Manufacturing Quality & Operations Excellence</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Oversee manufacturing quality performance across APAC DFM sites.</li>
<li>Drive key quality and operational metrics, including:</li>
<ul>
<li>Yield improvement</li>
<li>Failure analysis and root cause resolution</li>
<li>Process capability and control (e.g., Cp, Cpk)</li>
</ul>
<li>Implement scalable quality systems, processes, and performance metrics (e.g., FPY, DPPM).</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>5. Stakeholder Management</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Act as the primary liaison between:</li>
<ul>
<li>Hsinchu-based Engineering and NPI teams</li>
<li>Contract manufacturers and suppliers</li>
<li>Global Operations and Business leadership</li>
</ul>
<li>Provide clear and concise communication on program status, risks, mitigation plans, and readiness to senior leadership.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>6. Continuous Improvement & Strategy</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Define and execute the APAC Operations Engineering strategy in alignment with global organizational objectives.</li>
<li>Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methodologies to drive operational excellence.</li>
<li>Identify and implement opportunities to optimize cost, quality, and cycle time across the supply chain.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>Experience</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>10–15+ years of experience in Operations Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Supplier Quality within the <strong>electronics, hardware, or data center industry</strong>.</li>
<li>Proven track record of managing <strong>regional or global engineering teams</strong>.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success in <strong>NPI execution and manufacturing ramp within APAC</strong>.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Technical Expertise</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Strong domain expertise in:</li>
<ul>
<li>Supplier Quality and Supplier Development</li>
<li>Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT)</li>
<li>Manufacturing processes (e.g., PCBA, system integration)</li>
</ul>
<li>Experience working with contract manufacturing models, including EMS, JDM, and ODM.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Leadership & Stakeholder Management</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams across multiple regions and cultures.</li>
<li>Strong executive presence with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Taiwan-based engineering and manufacturing ecosystems is highly preferred.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Education</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related discipline)</li>
