Senior Performance Test Engineer

Join us to create technology that drives real change for businesses and people across the world.<br><br>We are looking for a Non-Functional Test Engineer who can design, implement, and&nbsp;maintain automated tests that evaluate the performance, stability, scalability, and resilience.</p> <p>The role will focus on reproducing realistic enterprise workloads and failure conditions&nbsp;to identify bottlenecks and reliability issues before they reach customers. The engineer&nbsp;will work closely with development, QA, platform, and DevSecOps teams to define&nbsp;measurable performance expectations and integrate non-functional testing into our&nbsp;release process.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and execute non-functional test scenarios covering load, stress, scalability, endurance, failover, and resilience testing.</li> <li>Simulate real-world user traffic and peak load conditions to validate system performance.</li> <li>Identify performance bottlenecks across application, database, API,infrastructure, and network layers.</li> <li>Work closely with developers, DevSecOps, QA, product, and infrastructure teams to define test objectives and acceptance criteria.</li> <li>Prepare detailed test reports including observations, bottlenecks, metrics, risks, and recommendations.</li> <li>Support performance testing as part of CI/CD pipelines where applicable.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Skills required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong experience with performance and load testing, preferably using tools such as&nbsp;<strong>k6</strong>, Gatling, JMeter, Locust, or similar.</li> <li>Experience designing load, stress, scalability, endurance and resilience tests.</li> <li>Good understanding of HTTP APIs, distributed systems, concurrency, queues and asynchronous processing.</li> <li>Experience with Kubernetes / containerized environments.</li> <li>Ability to analyse CPU, memory, JVM heap, disk, network and application metrics.</li> <li>Experience with observability tools such as&nbsp;<strong>Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry </strong>or similar.</li> <li>Experience integrating non-functional tests into CI/CD or scheduled test pipelines.</li> <li>Scripting/programming skills in a language suitable for test automation.</li> <li>Ability to work with developers to reproduce production/customer performance&nbsp;problems and turn them into automated regression scenarios.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>We offer*:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Flexible working format - remote, office-based or flexible</li> <li>A competitive salary and good compensation package</li> <li>Personalized career growth</li> <li>Professional development tools (mentorship program, tech talks and trainings, centers of excellence, and more)</li> <li>Active tech communities with regular knowledge sharing</li> <li>Education reimbursement</li> <li>Memorable anniversary presents</li> <li>Corporate events and team buildings</li> <li>Other location-specific benefits</li> </ul> <p>*not applicable for freelancers</p></div>
