We design and deliver modern cloud platforms, application modernization programs, and scalable cloud-native solutions for enterprise clients globally.</p> <p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior Cloud Architect</strong> to join our Cloud Solutions team and lead architecture across strategic client engagements.</p> <p>This is a client-facing architecture role combining <strong>cloud strategy, solution design, presales, discovery, and delivery leadership</strong>. You will work with clients from early-stage technology discussions and assessments through target architecture and transformation roadmaps to successful delivery.</p> <p>We are looking for strong cloud architects with deep expertise in <strong>AWS or Microsoft Azure</strong>. You don't need to be an expert in every cloud – strong architecture fundamentals, engineering experience, and the ability to solve complex client problems matter more.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead solution architecture across <strong>presales, assessments, discoveries, and strategic client engagements</strong>.</li> <li>Work directly with client stakeholders, including engineering leaders, CIOs and CTOs, to understand business goals and translate them into technology strategies.</li> <li>Design scalable, secure, resilient and cost-effective solutions on <strong>AWS and/or Microsoft Azure</strong>.</li> <li>Define target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps for cloud migration, application modernization and cloud-native development.</li> <li>Design architectures using modern approaches including microservices, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, APIs and event-driven systems.</li> <li>Define cloud platform foundations including networking, identity, security, observability, governance and landing zones.</li> <li>Lead technical workshops and architecture discussions with client and engineering teams.</li> <li>Shape solutions for RFPs/RFIs and strategic opportunities, including architecture, delivery approach, assumptions, risks and estimates.</li> <li>Work with engineering teams during project initiation and delivery to establish architecture principles, technical guardrails and governance.</li> <li>Perform architecture reviews and help teams resolve complex technical challenges.</li> <li>Contribute to N-iX cloud offerings, reference architectures, accelerators and reusable assets.</li> <li>Stay current with cloud and AI capabilities and help clients identify where emerging technologies can create practical value.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>8+ years of experience</strong> in software engineering, cloud engineering or architecture roles.</li> <li>Strong hands-on architecture experience with <strong>AWS or Microsoft Azure</strong>.</li> <li>Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade cloud solutions.</li> <li>Experience with cloud migration, application modernization or cloud-native transformation.</li> <li>Strong understanding of distributed systems and modern application architecture.</li> <li>Experience with containers and Kubernetes such as <strong>EKS or AKS</strong>.</li> <li>Good understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, resilience, observability and cost optimization.</li> <li>Experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps/CI/CD practices.</li> <li>Ability to move between high-level architecture and detailed technical discussions with engineering teams.</li> <li>Experience leading technical workshops, discoveries or architecture assessments.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technology decisions to both technical and business stakeholders.</li> <li>Upper-Intermediate/Advanced English.</li> </ul> <p><strong>We'd Especially Value:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience across both <strong>AWS and Azure</strong>.</li> <li>Experience leading complex cloud modernization programs.</li> <li>Strong software engineering background.</li> <li>Experience with platform engineering and developer platforms.</li> <li>Experience designing AI/GenAI-enabled solutions using services such as Amazon Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry or equivalent platforms.</li> <li>Experience with FinOps, cloud governance and enterprise landing zones.</li> <li>Experience mentoring engineers or architects.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Certifications:</strong></p> <p>Relevant professional-level cloud certifications are an advantage, including:</p> <ul> <li>AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional</li> <li>Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)</li> <li>AWS/Azure DevOps, Security or related certifications</li> <li>Terraform, Kubernetes or architecture certifications</li> <li>Anthropic Claude Architect or other AI-enabling certifications</li> </ul> <p>Certifications are valued, but <strong>demonstrated architecture and engineering experience matters more</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Why Join:</strong></p> <p>You'll work on complex cloud transformation challenges rather than being tied to a single product or project.</p> <p>You'll have the opportunity to:</p> <ul> <li>Shape solutions from the first client conversation through delivery.</li> <li>Work across industries, architectures and technology stacks.</li> <li>Influence technical decisions on strategic enterprise engagements.</li> <li>Work with experienced architects and engineers across the N-iX technology organization.</li> <li>Build new cloud capabilities, accelerators and offerings.</li> <li>Grow beyond a single cloud platform as the market evolves.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>We offer*:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Flexible working format -
