<p>The client team creates and enhances the client software that runs on Windows, Mac or other operating systems. Easy to use, light-weight, and deployed to perform at a high throughput, Netskope Client steers user traffic through Netskope’s enterprise security products (Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Cloud Firewall (CFW), Endpoint DLP) enabling holistic data protection and facilitating SASE deployments. Netskope Client’s centralized configuration, deployment, support, and troubleshooting delivers comprehensive security and control across the borderless modern threat landscape.</p>
<p><strong>What’s in it for you</strong></p>
<p>As a member of the Client team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing cloud backend software for Netskope Cloud Security solutions, and solving some of the most challenging cloud access & data security problems for enterprise customers.</p>
<p><strong>What you will be doing</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Working with a group of brilliant engineers to build service technologies that enable a CASB and Next Gen Secure Web Gateway holistic solutions.</li>
<li>Writing high-throughput code using the latest software development techniques.</li>
<li>Understanding requirement specs, researching appropriate solutions, and designing and implementing high-quality features that ensure reliability, sustainability, scalability and observability.</li>
<li>Working with Product Management to understand customer requirements.</li>
<li>Writing and executing dev test routines for your modules.</li>
<li>Working with QA to help them better test our product.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required skills and experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>10+ years of experience in developing cloud security, network or endpoint solution, or with a proven track record of building, scaling, and maintaining security software products.</li>
<li>Strong programming skills in Golang, Python, Node.js.</li>
<li>Experience designing and shipping APIs in highly scalable, distributed environments.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes deployments.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTPS, TLS, and related technologies.</li>
<li>Knowledge of cryptographic techniques and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.</li>
<li>Fluency with agentic coding systems and genuine curiosity about agent harnesses like Claude Code, Pi, and Codex, so you should already be building with them, or itching to.</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate openly, transparently, and consistently with team members and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills, including debugging and performing root cause analysis for complex issues across distributed systems and cloud infrastructures.</li>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">At Netskope, salary is one component of our competitive total rewards package. The salary range for this position is as listed below. This is a national range. For purposes of complying with applicable laws, the range applies to candidates in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Washington, and other states.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">The successful candidate’s starting pay will also be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the On Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target commission amount at 100% goal achievement.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">In addition to salary, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus plan (for non-sales roles) and a stock award program.
