Please note that this role is only open to candidates in Brazil.</p> <p>In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary software engineering team focused on building core frontend and mobile platform foundations, SDKs, and integration services (including push notifications, identity, and localization) across the entire Wellhub ecosystem.<br><br>As a <strong>Technical Manager</strong>, you will bridge hands-on technical architecture with people leadership and project management. You will directly manage a team of engineers, drive technical execution, align product roadmaps with system architecture, and mentor team members in career growth. While your primary focus will be people, execution, and strategy, your strong technical background, specifically with React and React Native ecosystems, will allow you to guide architectural discussions, perform code/design reviews, and maintain delivery quality.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>YOUR IMPACT</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Technical Project Management:</strong> Drive end-to-end delivery of complex cross-functional platform initiatives, aligning frontend/mobile requirements with Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) and core services.</li> <li><strong>Technical &amp; Architectural Leadership:</strong> Act as a technical soundboard and leader for mobile/frontend architecture (React / React Native), ensuring scalable, robust design patterns and sound technical trade-offs.</li> <li><strong>Stakeholder &amp; Cross-Team Collaboration: </strong>Serve as a key liaison between Product, UX, and consumer teams (e.g., CODE / Wellhub App team) to negotiate technical scope, roadmaps, and integration standards.</li> <li><strong>Culture &amp; Engineering Excellence:</strong> Establish best practices for testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and developer experience across platform frontend services.</li> <li><strong>Live the mission:</strong> inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life wellness.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHO YOU ARE</strong></p> <ul> <li>You have proven experience managing and leading engineering teams (people management, hiring, performance management, career development).</li> <li>You possess a solid software engineering background with hands-on experience in React and React Native ecosystems, as well as modern frontend/mobile architecture.</li> <li>You have a track record of leading technical projects from conception to deployment, balancing engineering quality with time-to-market.</li> <li>You understand distributed system architecture, including modern mobile architectures, Micro Frontends, BFF (Node.js), RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.</li> <li>You demonstrate strong organizational and project management capabilities (roadmap execution, sprint planning, risk mitigation, resource allocation).</li> <li>You possess strong communication skills, capable of bridging technical details with non-technical stakeholders in both Portuguese and English.</li> <li>You foster an inclusive, collaborative culture and enjoy mentoring developers to help them reach their full potential.</li> </ul> <p>We recognize that individuals approach job applications differently.
