We are </span><strong>GoFasti, </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">a Talent-as-a-Service. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">GoFasti bridges the gap between world-class developers and designers from LatAm and first-class companies around the globe. </span></p></div><p>We need an English-proficient<strong> Cisco ThousandEyes Architect</strong>, based in no, available to work remotely.<br><br>We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.</p><p>Are you the one we are looking for?</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul class="tiptap-list-disc"><li><p>Lead discovery workshops and architecture assessments to design Cisco ThousandEyes solutions (Cloud, Enterprise, and Endpoint Agent placement; test strategy; alerting architecture) aligned to client business and network topology.</p></li><li><p>Serve as the senior (Level 3+) technical escalation point for complex BGP, routing, SD-WAN, and platform-level issues beyond Level 1/Level 2 scope, engaging Cisco TAC and account teams as needed.</p></li><li><p>Define and document reference architectures, agent deployment standards, dashboard/reporting frameworks, and integration patterns (ITSM, SIEM, webhook, API) for client and internal enablement.</p></li><li><p>Partner with Sales, Presales, and Solution Architecture teams to scope ThousandEyes engagements, build Statements of Work, size effort and pricing, and present technical solutions to client stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Lead onboarding and migration engagements, including legacy monitoring tool rationalization, enterprise-scale agent rollout planning, and test/alert rationalization.</p></li><li><p>Provide architectural guidance on integrating ThousandEyes telemetry with broader network, cloud, and SD-WAN environments (AWS/Azure/GCP connectivity, Cisco SD-WAN/Viptela, Meraki).</p></li><li><p>Lead client-facing Quarterly Business Reviews and roadmap sessions, translating ThousandEyes data (Internet Insights, BGP Route Views, outage analysis) into strategic recommendations.</p></li><li><p>Mentor and technically develop Level 1/Level 2 engineers, including runbook creation, knowledge-transfer sessions, and escalation reviews.</p></li><li><p>Drive automation and API-based integrations (ThousandEyes API, Python, Terraform) to scale monitoring, reporting, and remediation workflows across the managed services portfolio.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate new Cisco ThousandEyes capabilities (Endpoint Agent, Internet Insights, Cloud Insights) and lead proof-of-concept efforts to expand Trace3's service offering.</p></li><li><p>Own the technical relationship for strategic and enterprise accounts, acting as a trusted advisor on digital experience monitoring strategy.</p></li><li><p>Participate in a global, cross-time-zone delivery model, including occasional after-hours support for critical escalations or major incident response.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul class="tiptap-list-disc"><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; advanced certifications strongly preferred.</p></li><li><p>5+ years of network engineering/architecture experience, including 3+ years designing and leading Cisco ThousandEyes deployments at enterprise scale.</p></li><li><p>Deep expertise across all ThousandEyes test types (Network, DNS, HTTP Server, Page Load, Voice, BGP) and agent types (Cloud, Enterprise, Endpoint), including large-scale rollout and rationalization.</p></li><li><p>Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela/Meraki), and cloud connectivity architectures (AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, GCP Interconnect).</p></li><li><p>Proven experience leading client-facing discovery, architecture design, and presales/SOW scoping engagements.</p></li><li><p>Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, ThousandEyes API, Terraform) for integration and reporting at scale.</p></li><li><p>CCNP or CCIE (or equivalent advanced networking certification) required; Cisco ThousandEyes certification strongly preferred.</p></li><li><p>Experience integrating ThousandEyes with ITSM/SIEM platforms (ServiceNow, Splunk) and broader observability stacks.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional executive communication, consulting, and presentation skills, with the ability to advise C-level and IT leadership stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to mentor technical teams and lead globally distributed, cross-time-zone engagements.</p></li></ul><p><strong>It's a plus:</strong></p><ul class="tiptap-list-disc"><li><p>Experience integrating ThousandEyes telemetry into broader ITSM, SIEM, and observability ecosystems (e.g., ServiceNow, Splunk).</p></li><li><p>Experience sizing engagements, developing Statements of Work (SOWs), and presenting solutions with Sales/Presales teams.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to mentor Level 1/Level 2 engineers, lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and advise C-level/IT leadership stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Advanced certifications such as Cisco ThousandEyes Certification or CCIE.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul class="tiptap-list-disc"><li><p>The salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $4,500 - $6,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.</p></li><li><p>This position is for a full time contract, through a payroll platform.</p></li><li><p>The talent will work remotely allocated at our client.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Here are the steps for this process:</strong><br><br>Application review/approval <strong>></strong> Screening interview with GoFasti's team <strong>></strong> We build and send your profile to our client <strong>></strong> Profile review/approval by client <strong>></strong> Interview with the client <strong>></strong> Hiring and onboarding.</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Once you apply for the job, our team will review your resume.
