<h2>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h2>
<p>As a <strong>Product Owner, Value-Added Payment Services</strong>, these will be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and coordinate a squad of 5 software engineers focused on payment orchestration capabilities.</li>
<li>Own the functional vision, operational excellence and future roadmap of the payment services under your responsibility.</li>
<li>Define and prioritize the product backlog in line with business objectives and customer needs.</li>
<li>Develop deep expertise in the services, including their business processes, dependencies, performance and operational behavior.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to leverage AI capabilities to improve payment routing, operational efficiency, customer experience and service automation.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Operations and Business stakeholders to shape service evolution and the long-term platform strategy.</li>
<li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices across the squad.</li>
</ul>
<h2>WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR</h2>
<p>We are in search of a <strong>Product Owner, Value-Added Payment Services</strong> to join our team in Boadilla del Monte, <strong>Madrid</strong>, with the following qualifications and background:</p>
<h3>Professional Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in Payments, FinTech, Banking or Financial Services. <strong>(Required)</strong></li>
<li>Experience leading development squads and managing software delivery in Agile environments. <strong>(Required)</strong></li>
</ul>
<h3>Education</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Finance. <strong>(Required)</strong></li>
</ul>
<h3>Languages</h3>
<ul>
<li>English proficiency. <strong>(Required)</strong></li>
</ul>
<h3>Hard Skills</h3>
<p><strong>Required</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong knowledge of Payments ecosystems. </li>
<li>Functional knowledge of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems. </li>
<li>Experience working within Agile Squads and product-led organizations. </li>
<li>Experience defining product roadmaps, requirements and service evolution. </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Practical understanding of AI applications in the Payments industry. </li>
</ul>
<h3>Soft Skills</h3>
<p><strong>Required</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong stakeholder management skills. </li>
<li>Strong communication skills. </li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with Architecture, Engineering, Operations and Business stakeholders. </li>
