With flexibility and autonomy built into how we work, you’ll have the space to focus, collaborate, and perform at your best.<br>Here, your impact matters, your growth is supported, and your experience is designed to help you thrive.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p> <p>As a Senior Platform Engineer, these will be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role:</p> <ul> <li>Design, implement and operate scalable, secure and resilient AWS-based infrastructure that powers our engineering organization.</li> <li>Manage and evolve Kubernetes clusters, including EKS, to ensure high availability, performance and operational reliability.</li> <li>Automate infrastructure and standardize provisioning and lifecycle management through Infrastructure as Code and platform engineering practices.</li> <li>Operate and optimize shared platform services, including RDS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, Confluent Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ and Elasticsearch.</li> <li>Lead improvements in observability, monitoring, alerting, incident response and platform resilience, including root cause analysis and preventive actions.</li> <li>Define and track SLIs and SLOs for platform services while driving improvements in availability, performance, fault tolerance and disaster recovery readiness.</li> <li>Build self-service capabilities and improve the developer experience by reducing friction in infrastructure provisioning and operations.</li> <li>Contribute to platform architecture, technical strategy and roadmap decisions while collaborating closely with product engineering teams and mentoring other engineers.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR</strong></p> <p>We are in search of a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team in Boadilla del Monte, with the following qualifications and background:</p> <p>Professional Experience</p> <ul> <li>Strong experience working with AWS in production environments, designing and operating scalable cloud infrastructure. (Required)</li> <li>Significant hands-on experience managing Kubernetes environments, with experience in Amazon EKS. (Required)</li> <li>Experience operating distributed systems and stateful services at scale in high-availability or mission-critical environments. (Required)</li> <li>Experience with Infrastructure as Code, with Terraform preferred. (Required)</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. (Required)</li> <li>Experience operating messaging, event-driven and shared platform services such as Confluent Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, relational databases and NoSQL databases. (Required)</li> <li>Experience defining and improving platform reliability through observability, monitoring, incident response, SLIs and SLOs. (Required)</li> <li>Experience with platform engineering models, internal developer platforms, SRE practices, regulated environments or cloud cost optimization. (Preferred)</li> </ul> <p>Languages</p> <ul> <li>Fluent English. (Required)</li> <li>Fluent Spanish.
