Senior/Lead Automation QA Engineer (TypeScript, Playwright)

By bringing education software solutions into one unified platform, the customer makes it possible to manage the needs of the education community, including recruiting &amp; hiring, absence &amp; time management, and special education.</p> <h3>What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Own the quality strategy for the FLE project across multiple products</li> <li>Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution</li> <li>Build and maintain automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript</li> <li>Maintain and work across multiple automation frameworks</li> <li>Perform API testing and validate test data using SQL</li> <li>Design and execute regression testing strategies ahead of releases</li> <li>Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for significant defect trends and bug volumes</li> <li>Standardize QA processes and practices across projects</li> <li>Provide technical leadership and support to Junior and Mid-level QA engineers</li> <li>Design and implement AI agents and AI-based solutions to improve QA workflows</li> <li>Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA estimates for upcoming work</li> <li>Communicate testing progress, risks, and technical topics to engineering and business stakeholders</li> </ul> <h3>What You Bring</h3> <ul> <li>Proven experience as a Senior Automation QA Engineer or AQA Lead</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript</li> <li>Solid experience with API testing and SQL</li> <li>Experience working with multiple automation frameworks</li> <li>Experience designing and executing regression testing strategies</li> <li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance</li> <li>Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted QA tools and AI agents</li> <li>Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills</li> <li>Experience working in Agile teams and providing QA estimations</li> <li>Flexibility to overlap with European business hours (working morning to early afternoon local LATAM time, until approximately 2 PM BRT / 12 PM COT).</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to have</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with Root Cause Analysis and defect trend analysis</li> <li>Experience standardizing QA practices across multiple teams or projects</li> <li>Experience implementing AI-driven QA solutions</li> </ul> <h3>English level</h3> <p>Intermediate+</p> <h3>Legal &amp; Hiring Information</h3> <ul> <li>Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more</li> <li>Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions</li> <li>Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
