<p>Ebury's strategic growth plan would not be possible without our Data team and we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team!<br>Our mission is to develop maintain and improve Ebury's Data Platform with a focus on building scalable, robust, and innovative frameworks.<br><br>As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will work closely with the rest of the team to help develop and improve the Data Platform.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of a robust data platform to be consumed across the company</li>
<li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights</li>
<li>Drive innovation and explore emerging technologies to enhance our data capabilities</li>
<li>Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality and security</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About you:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in Python for data transformation and validation</li>
<li>Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets, as well as experience working with structured and unstructured data sources</li>
<li>Data engineering and modelling skills such as slowly changing dimensions and dimensional modelling</li>
<li>Graph database modelling encouraged</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, including designing and implementing data solutions at scale</li>
<li>Self-motivation and curiosity, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, continuously improving both technical and business skills</li>
<li>Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) tools and services, such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions</li>
<li>Fluency in English (Spanish, a plus)</li>
</ul>
