As a key member of Datadog's Event Marketing team – the driving force behind our high-impact, experiential marketing programs – you will play a critical role in executing best-in-class events that generate leads, pipeline, and scale our brand presence. With hundreds of events run globally each year, this role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.</em></p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead Datadog's end-to-end presence at large-scale third-party (sponsored) events in North America &amp; LATAM regions, including strategy, planning, logistics, onsite execution, staffing, audience engagement, and performance measurement.</li> <li>Uphold high standards for live event experiences, ensuring strong brand alignment and delivering programs accountable for measurable pipeline contribution — leads generated, opportunities influenced, and pipeline created — with every investment decision defensible with data.</li> <li>Evaluate sponsorship packages and make activation investment decisions (tier selection, add-ons, what to cut) grounded in pipeline return; support contract preparation, negotiation, and vendor management.</li> <li>Leverage AI tools to accelerate event research, vendor evaluation, briefing documents, post-event reporting, and stakeholder communications — improving speed and quality of outputs.</li> <li>Partner closely with broader Marketing teams to ensure cohesive regional planning and integrated execution.</li> <li>Collaborate with NAMER and LATAM teams on regional initiatives, share best practices, align workflows, and support select events across regions.</li> <li>Enhance operational workflows by improving planning processes, lead capture mechanisms, reporting templates, and execution frameworks.</li> <li>Track, analyze, and report on event KPIs, ROI, and budget accuracy; ensure data integrity and timely post-event follow-up.</li> <li>Identify new event opportunities, market trends, and innovative experiential approaches to strengthen Datadog's presence in NAMER and LATAM.</li> <li>Model calm, professional behavior in high-pressure situations and help foster a positive, proactive, and collaborative team environment.</li> <li>Manage event logistics including vendor sourcing, booth configuration, shipping, asset coordination, and onsite operations.</li> <li>Ensure seamless onsite execution through detailed planning, strong contingency management, and confident troubleshooting.</li> <li>Travel up to 50% to support events in NAMER and LATAM.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>4-6 years of event management experience in a high-tech, B2B, or fast-paced environment managing lead-generating events.</li> <li>Experience running concurrent, multi-faceted events.</li> <li>Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and budgets simultaneously.</li> <li>Able to stay calm and professional in high-stress, fast-changing event environments.</li> <li>Comfortable partnering closely with Sales and Product teams, resolving onsite issues, and communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Highly detail-oriented with strong reporting and analytical skills; proficiency with Salesforce, Tableau, Metabase, or similar tools required.</li> <li>Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) in daily workflows; curious about applying AI to streamline event planning, lead enrichment, and reporting.</li> <li>Positive, proactive, team-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal oversight.</li> <li>Comfortable with flexible hours, including evenings/weekends during event cycles.</li> <li>Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods during events.</li> </ul> <p class="p1"><em>Datadog values people from all walks of life.
