<h3>About the role</h3>
<p>Hi, my name is Megan Berry, Senior Director of Product Management at <a href="http://customer.io/">Customer.io</a>, and I'm looking for a Product Manager to improve how customers experience their first weeks with us. Our self-serve business is a growing part of how customers discover and adopt <a href="http://Customer.io">Customer.io</a>, and this role sits at the center of that motion, working alongside our Senior PM on the self-serve pod. You'll have real ownership over a defined slice of the journey, with the data, experimentation muscle, and cross-functional partners to move it.</p>

<h3>What you'll do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Own the product experience of of our own agent, working with our agent team to ensure it is first-class, competitive and helpful for the AI-first marketer who uses our platform.</li>
<li>Work closely with other PMs and squads to ensure the agent works well with each part of the platform it touches.</li>
<li>Find and resolve friction points using data, experimentation, and customer insight.</li>
<li>Define and track success metrics for activation, retention, and monetization.</li>
<li>Partner with Marketing, CX, and Design to ensure success across all touch points</li>
<li>Work with Engineering to scope and deliver improvements that produce customer value</li>
<li>Communicate priorities and progress clearly across teams and leadership.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What we're looking for</h3>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of product management experience in SaaS, ideally with some experience PMing an agentic experience.</li>
<li>Experience using or developing AI-powered tooling in your product workflow</li>
<li>A track record of improving activation or retention metrics.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and experimentation skills — data-driven but comfortable with ambiguity.</li>
<li>Experience collaborating across Product, Marketing, and CX.</li>
<li>A clear communicator who simplifies complexity and drives alignment.</li>
<li>Deep curiosity about what helps customers succeed.</li>
<li>Comfort working autonomously in a remote, async-first environment.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Compensation & Benefits</h3>
<p>We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is <strong>$137k–$156k USD</strong> (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.</p>
<p>Zone 1: $164,400–$187,200.</p>
<p>Zone 2: $150,700–$171,600.</p>
<p>Zone 3: $137,000–$156,000.</p>
