<p><strong>About the role </strong></p>
<p>Procurement is a critical lever in how we scale efficiently and operate at a high standard across hundreds of facilities. As a Procurement Director, you will own vendor strategy, cost optimization, and contract governance across key categories including facilities, equipment, utilities, and services.</p>
<p>You will partner cross-functionally with Real Estate, Facilities, Operations, and Finance to drive disciplined spend, improve service levels, and unlock measurable savings at scale. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong negotiation skills, data-driven decision making, and the ability to build and manage vendor relationships across a national footprint.</p>
<p>Success in this role means delivering cost savings, increasing contract coverage, standardizing procurement processes, and ensuring our operators have the infrastructure and support they need to perform at their best.</p>

<p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead procurement and sourcing strategies for construction projects, materials, equipment, and services from planning through project completion.</li>
<li>Partner with Construction, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other teams to understand project needs, identify suppliers, and develop sourcing strategies.</li>
<li>Source, evaluate, and manage general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and suppliers across multiple projects.</li>
<li>Lead RFx/RFP processes, analyze bids and proposals, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and execute supplier agreements.</li>
<li>Identify cost-saving opportunities while balancing project quality, timelines, and operational requirements.</li>
<li>Manage key vendor relationships, including performance, pricing, contracts, payment terms, risk, and compliance.</li>
<li>Partner with construction teams to ensure materials and services are sourced and delivered according to project schedules and key milestones.</li>
<li>Monitor market trends, material costs, vendor capacity, and supply risks that could impact construction timelines or budgets.</li>
<li>Develop and improve procurement processes, tools, reporting, and vendor management practices as the company scales.</li>
<li>Manage multiple sourcing initiatives independently and provide recommendations and results to senior leadership.</li>

<li>A builder who can own cost from concept to completion, coordinating estimates across design phases, procuring GCs, architects, and engineers, and managing contracts while maintaining tight control over project cash flow.</li>
<li>A strong negotiator who leads sourcing efforts end-to-end, confidently navigating complex, high-stakes vendor, supplier, and contractor negotiations to consistently secure best-in-class terms.</li>
<li>An operator who can orchestrate pricing, logistics, and sequencing of specialized kitchen construction materials across a national footprint with precision and speed.</li>
<li>A cross-functional partner who works closely with KOB teams to procure and deliver kitchen equipment tailored to licensee needs, balancing customization with scalability.</li>
<li>A cost leader who drives value engineering, challenges assumptions, and finds creative ways to reduce spend while improving quality and performance.</li>
<li>A data-driven thinker who is comfortable working with large datasets, leveraging analytics and market insights to inform decisions and unlock efficiencies at scale.</li>

<p><strong>What else you need to know</strong></p>
<p>This role is based in our Austin<em> </em>office. Atoms is a company driven by invention and continuous change - we are constantly reimagining our industries, building new products, and refining how we operate. We do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.</p>
<p>The base salary range for this role is<strong> $130,000 - $150,000 per year.</strong></p>
<p>Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.</p>
<p>Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package. You may also be eligible for equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus.</p>
