The right candidate is someone who ….</p> <p><strong>Your Assignment</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Architecture and solutions</strong> <ul> <li>Lead client engagements</li> <li>Provide thought leadership around scalable next-generation cloud architecture experience and operational guidance to clients</li> <li>Lead cross-functional implementation teams to deliver world-class solutions to clients</li> <li>Own the implementation of stories and other engineering of advanced cloud work for clients</li> <li>Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in multiple frameworks and can break apart projects into independent components at an appropriate level, taking into account different aspects of a stack and know how to build stability and security into them.</li> <li>Help clients get work done smarter with automation and code</li> <li>Lead a team to navigate complex bureaucratic relationships to bring all stakeholders together around a common product vision and strategy</li> <li>Lead re-platforming and refactoring efforts for existing systems</li> <li>Lead Client discovery and the creation of a prioritized backlog for continuous improvement initiatives</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Observability and Monitoring</strong> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and build scalable architectures leveraging AWS services with an emphasis on reliability, security, and cost efficiency.</li> <li>Build and maintain observability solutions using AWS native (e.g., CloudWatch, X-Ray, Config) and partner tools (e.g. Datadog, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry) for APM, infrastructure monitoring, logging, and tracing.</li> <li>Work with a 24x7 response team and operations leadership group to help establish the precise collection of metrics, data and logs needed to properly monitor an application or workload</li> <li>Within this observability framework help establish corresponding runbooks and automation that can be deployed when certain metrics and conditions (monitoring) are met</li> <li>Work with the CloudOps teams in effort to reduce noise and address root causes of issues surfaced</li> <li>Partner with DevOps and security teams to ensure the necessary resilience, security, and cost-optimization features are embedded in solutions</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>General</strong> <ul> <li>Learn, coach, and share knowledge and skills with other team members</li> <li>Prepare work for team members of varying levels of experience, defining stories and task type work</li> <li>Contribute to internal IP and open source development</li> <li>Participate in delivery efforts using Agile or other work methodologies</li> <li>Build relationships with vendors and partners</li> <li>Engage with clients including presentations, technical decisions, and education opportunities</li> <li>Learn, research, and stay up to date on best practices and evolutionary capability in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud</li> <li>Be a technical team advocate, ensuring clear direction and efficient execution</li> <li>Perform code reviews, provide feedback, and pair when beneficial</li> <li>Keep an eye out for opportunities to support our clients in even greater ways</li> <li>Write cool blog posts, do talks at community events, help us achieve additional certifications in the AWS Partner Community, help our clients solve all sorts of problems</li> <li>Occasional travel may be required to meet stakeholders, kick off new projects, attend conferences, and attend company functions.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 6 years of general IT experience (programming, hardware, software, etc);
