<h2>Role Overview</h2>
<p>We are looking for experienced Project Managers with a strong banking background to lead complex transformation initiatives across our financial services clients.</p>
<p>You will bring a combination of project delivery expertise and banking domain experience, with a track record of successfully delivering transformation within areas such as Retail Banking, Private Banking & Wealth Management, Corporate & Transaction Banking, Payments, Capital Markets or other banking domains.</p>
<p>This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you will take ownership of projects from initiation through implementation, working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, delivery teams and external partners.</p>
<p>You should be comfortable operating in complex banking environments, bringing structure to ambiguity, challenging where appropriate, and driving teams towards successful delivery.</p>
<h2>What You'll Do</h2>
<h3>Lead Banking Transformation Projects</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead end-to-end delivery of <strong>b</strong>usiness and technology transformation initiatives within banking environments, from initiation and planning through implementation and closure.</li>
<li>Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, dependencies and success measures.</li>
<li>Develop and manage integrated project plans covering timelines, resources, budgets, dependencies and quality.</li>
<li>Drive execution across multiple workstreams and ensure delivery remains aligned with agreed business outcomes.</li>
<li>Translate strategic objectives into structured and executable transformation plans.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Own Project Governance & Delivery</h3>
<ul>
<li>Establish effective project governance and maintain clear decision-making and escalation pathways.</li>
<li>Proactively manage<strong> </strong>risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies (RAID) and drive issues through to resolution.</li>
<li>Manage scope, change control, budgets, resources and delivery performance.</li>
<li>Prepare clear and concise reporting for Project Sponsors, Steering Committees and senior stakeholders.</li>
<li>Ensure appropriate project controls, documentation and delivery standards are maintained throughout the lifecycle.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Partner with Banking & Technology Stakeholders</h3>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with stakeholders across business, product, operations, technology, risk, compliance and other functions.</li>
<li>Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a credible delivery partner.</li>
<li>Understand the business context behind transformation initiatives and ensure project delivery remains aligned to business objectives.</li>
<li>Navigate competing priorities and facilitate decisions across complex stakeholder groups.</li>
<li>Coordinate effectively with vendors, system integrators and other external delivery partners where required.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Lead Teams & Drive Execution</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams across business and technology.</li>
<li>Establish clear accountability, delivery cadence and ways of working across project teams.</li>
<li>Identify delivery challenges early and take appropriate action to maintain momentum.</li>
<li>Create an environment of collaboration, ownership and delivery excellence.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Support Change & Implementation</h3>
<ul>
<li>Assess the business and operational impacts of transformation initiatives.</li>
<li>Coordinate implementation and business readiness across impacted functions.</li>
<li>Support transition from current-state processes and systems into the target environment.</li>
<li>Track agreed outcomes and benefits following implementation.</li>
</ul>
<h2>What We're Looking For</h2>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of Project Management experience within banking or financial services, with direct accountability for end-to-end project delivery.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience leading or delivering banking transformation projects, rather than purely BAU or operational initiatives.</li>
<li>Strong domain experience in at least one area of banking, such as:
<ul>
<li>Retail Banking</li>
<li>Private Banking / Wealth Management</li>
<li>Corporate / Commercial Banking</li>
<li>Transaction Banking / Cash Management</li>
<li>Payments</li>
<li>Capital Markets / Markets</li>
<li>Core Banking</li>
<li>Other relevant banking products or functions</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Experience delivering transformation involving business, operations and technology stakeholders.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of project governance, planning, RAID management, financial management and change control.</li>
<li>Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, Project Sponsors and Steering Committees.</li>
<li>Ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous and highly regulated banking environments.</li>
<li>Strong communication, facilitation and problem-solving capabilities.</li>
<li>Experience working with<strong> </strong>Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Advantageous Experience</h2>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience within management consulting, technology consulting or professional services.</li>
<li>Experience delivering large-scale or regional banking transformation programmes.</li>
<li>Exposure to digital transformation, platform modernisation, operating model change, regulatory transformation or technology implementation.</li>
<li>Experience managing third-party vendors or system integrators.</li>
<li>PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent project/programme management certification.</li>
