<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of our cloud native, API-first platform, our autonomous application security testing platform. We aim to help organizations find and fix security vulnerabilities faster than threat actors can exploit them.</p>
<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across a Python/Flask backend and a TypeScript/React frontend</li>
<li>Expertise in scalable API-first architecture, service patterns, and robust API standards for third-party integrations</li>
<li>Build and maintain integrations connecting with customer systems, security tools, workflow engines, and more</li>
<li>Create consistent service patterns and ensure strong guarantees around interfaces and performance</li>
<li>Improve internal engineering tools that support security triage and vulnerability workflows</li>
<li>Collaborate with designers using our accessible and standards-compliant design system (bugcrowd.design)</li>
<li>Ensure high accessibility, stability, and performance across integration workflows</li>
</ul>
<div><strong>Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of full-stack software development experience with product-focused environment preferred</li>
<li>Experience in the cybersecurity domain</li>
<li>Strong technical skills in full-stack development, including backend API development (Python/Flask) and frontend development (TypeScript/React)</li>
<li>Strong background in agile delivery, backlog management, and stakeholder communication</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills</li>
<li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field</li>
</ul>
<div><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Nice to have: experience with Rust (used in some internal CLIs)</li>
<li>Nice to have: experience with GCP and/or AWS, GitHub Actions, and Keycloak</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Working Conditions and Physical Requirements</strong></p>
<p>The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.</p>
