For more information, visit <u><span><a href="http://www.bitgo.com" target="_blank">www.bitgo.com</a></span></u>.</p></div><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p> <p>BitGo is looking for a <strong>Mobile Engineer E2</strong> with a strong background in React Native to join our team and help us build cross-platform mobile applications that enhance the BitGo experience for our customers.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and build advanced applications for the iOS and Android platforms using React Native.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.</li> <li>Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.</li> <li>Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.</li> <li>Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand and refine product requirements.</li> <li>Provide mentorship to your peers in the broader engineering team through code reviews and education on best practices</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>We are looking for teammates who share and practice our values: open communication, transparency, taking ownership, and a high level of craftsmanship. We are looking for coworkers who share our vision and mission: deliver trust in digital assets.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years of proven experience in mobile application development using React Native.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of JavaScript and related technologies, including ES6 and TypeScript.</li> <li>Familiarity with Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java.</li> <li>Solid understanding of React and React Native architecture, navigation, state management, native modules, and OTA releases.</li> <li>Experience with secure storage, authentication, encryption, certificate and network security, biometrics, and secure handling of sensitive data.</li> <li>Strong understanding of UI/UX standards and mobile design principles.</li> <li>Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, along with a strong understanding of RESTful API design.</li> <li>Strong understanding of unit and functional testing, with proven debugging skills.</li> <li>Experience with Git/GitHub, branching methodologies, code review tools, CI tools, and related development practices.</li> <li>Experience building observability and monitoring capabilities, including crash reporting, analytics, profiling, and memory, battery, and network optimization.</li> <li>Familiarity with App Store and Google Play deployment, release management, crash monitoring, and production debugging.</li> <li>Ability to support working hours aligned with EST/PST time zones, as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus</li> <li>Understanding of and experience working in the financial industry</li> <li>Familiarity with any of the following: digital wallets, clearing and settlement, lending, trading, accounting systems, etc</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join BitGo?</strong></p> <p>Disrupting an industry takes vision, innovation, passion, technical chops, drive to deliver, collaboration, and execution.
