Joining this team means more than taking a job—it means helping shape the future of emergency response and building a safer, more connected world.</p> <h4><strong>Your Impact</strong></h4> <p>As a <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Technical Project Manager</strong>, you'll lead the successful delivery of mission-critical cloud and IT deployments that power emergency communications for public safety agencies across the country. You'll oversee projects from kickoff through go-live, ensuring implementations are delivered on time while coordinating technical and operational resources across Axon 911, our partners, and our customers. Serving as the primary technical liaison, you'll work closely with engineering, product, implementation teams, and public safety stakeholders to scope technical requirements, drive cloud deployments and system integrations, and ensure seamless cutovers into production. This role requires balancing technical expertise with exceptional project leadership, building trusted relationships with customers, and delivering solutions that directly support first responders and the communities they serve when every second matters. <br><br><strong>What You’ll Do </strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end deployment of cloud-based platforms, including system configuration, testing, and go-live support</li> <li>Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to implement scalable, secure, and resilient IT solutions tailored for public safety</li> <li>Create/manage project and technical implementation plans (e.g., infrastructure readiness, data flows, failover testing)</li> <li>Coordinate with DevOps, R&amp;D, and Solution Architects to align product capabilities with deployment requirements</li> <li>Manage expectations across stakeholders, resolve issues proactively, and ensure milestone delivery</li> <li>Facilitate system handovers to customer IT teams and lead onboarding/training where required</li> <li>Identify post-deployment support needs and optimization opportunities for add-on services</li> </ul> <h4><strong>What You Bring</strong></h4> <ul> <li>PMP or CAPM certified</li> <li>Have 5+ years of experience managing global technical projects, preferably within a B2B SaaS, IT, or cloud services company</li> <li>Are experienced in leading cross-functional teams through cloud or hybrid infrastructure implementations</li> <li>Possess strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure, etc.)</li> <li>Have a proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable technical plans</li> <li>Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup culture and are confident interfacing with both technical and executive stakeholders</li> <li>Are open to domestic travel to support project execution and client success (up to 20% or more)</li> </ul> <p>Nice-to-Haves:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with ESInet and NG911 i3-compliant technologies</li> <li>Familiarity with systems used by PSAPs or other emergency services</li> <li>Hands-on experience managing projects involving cloud-native architectures or real-time communication platforms</li> <li>Demonstrated ability using AI tools, cross-platform integrations, and innovative tools</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Work Location</strong></h4> <p>This role requires working onsite from our regional hub Tuesday through Friday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays.</p> <h4><strong>Benefits that Benefit You </strong></h4> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and 401k with employer match</li> <li>Discretionary paid time off</li> <li>Paid parental leave for all</li> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision plans</li> <li>Fitness Programs</li> <li>Emotional &amp; Mental Wellness support</li> <li>Learning &amp; Development programs</li> <li>And yes, we have snacks in our offices</li> </ul> <p><em>Benefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work.</em><br><br><br><br></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards.
