<p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p>
<p><strong>Project Delivery & Site Execution</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee the end-to-end construction of new developments—with a focus on roadside QSR drive-thrus and EVC hubs—as well as modernisations across the existing real estate portfolio.</li>
<li>Develop, manage, and track project schedules and critical path milestones to ensure timely delivery across multiple concurrent schemes.</li>
<li>Conduct regular site visits, job walks, and pre-construction due diligence activities to verify site conditions and progress.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot constructability, sequencing, and inspection issues on-site to resolve blockers quickly and prevent project delays.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Utility & Stakeholder Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage relationships and day-to-day coordination with external consultants, principal contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.</li>
<li>Lead the on-site sequencing and scheduling of utility companies to secure timely power, water, and telecom connections—critical for EVC and drive-thru operations.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Commercial & Financial Control</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with budget planning, cost monitoring, and financial control across assigned projects.</li>
<li>Review, verify, and process contractor valuations and payment applications to ensure compliance with contractual terms.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Quality, Compliance & Safety</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Enforce rigorous Health & Safety standards across all active sites in line with UK statutory regulations and internal policies.</li>
<li>Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure all works conform to corporate specifications, design standards, and operational requirements.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Reporting & Administration</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide regular project status, budget, and risk reporting to senior leadership.</li>
<li>Coordinate project administration, including site meetings, contract documentation, and handover processes.</li>

<p><strong>What we’re looking for</strong></p>
<p><strong>Experience & Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3–5 years of relevant experience in construction management, ideally within retail, hospitality, roadside QSR, or F&B developments.</li>
<li>Professional accreditation: RICS, CIOB, or MAPM membership (or actively working towards chartered status) is highly desirable.</li>
<li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field preferred.</li>
<li>Full UK driving licence due to site travel.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Technical & Commercial Skills</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and sound commercial judgment when managing contracts, suppliers, and budgets.</li>
<li>Multi-Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, navigate competing priorities, and deliver to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Analytical Problem-Solving: A pragmatic approach to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex constructability and operational challenges.</li>
</ul>

<li>Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from site teams to executive leadership.</li>

Atoms is a company driven by invention and continuous change - we are constantly reimagining our industries, building new products, and refining how we operate. We do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.</p>
