In this role, you will work closely with systems engineers, software developers, and customers to integrate software components into cohesive, high-performance systems that meet operational and technical requirements.</p> <p>The ideal candidate has experience with software integration, automation, DevOps practices, and software-hardware integration. This individual will play a key role in developing integration strategies, maintaining build and deployment environments, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and supporting system-level testing and verification activities.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with customers, systems engineers, and software development teams to define software requirements, architecture concepts, integration strategies, and test plans.</li> <li>Perform integration of software components, firmware, embedded applications, and third-party libraries into operational systems.</li> <li>Develop and maintain software integration plans, procedures, and automated deployment processes.</li> <li>Design and implement automation scripts to improve build, testing, deployment, and release workflows.</li> <li>Define and maintain software interfaces, integration dependencies, and configuration requirements.</li> <li>Configure, manage, and maintain software development and integration environments, including source control repositories, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve software integration issues through root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.</li> <li>Support software verification, validation, and system-level testing activities.</li> <li>Maintain software build documentation, release records, and configuration management artifacts to ensure traceability and repeatability.</li> <li>Support software-hardware integration efforts and assist in validating system functionality and performance.</li> <li>Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Contribute to the development of new capabilities and enhancements for customer-focused solutions.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Education</strong></p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.</p> <p>Relevant technical certifications are a plus.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in software integration, software engineering, DevOps, or related technical roles.</li> <li>Experience supporting complex software development and integration projects.</li> <li>Experience working in aerospace, defense, telecommunications, embedded systems, or other highly regulated technical environments.</li> <li>Experience with software build, release, and deployment processes.</li> <li>Preferred Qualifications</li> <li>Experience with embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), or software-hardware integration.</li> <li>Experience supporting mission-critical, aerospace, telecommunications, or defense-related systems.</li> <li>Experience developing automation frameworks and deployment pipelines.</li> <li>Familiarity with systems engineering processes, requirements management, and verification activities.</li> <li>Experience integrating third-party software components and applications.</li> <li>Knowledge of software configuration management and release management best practices.</li> <li>Experience supporting test automation and continuous integration
