As a Senior Project Manager with Appnovation, you’ll be responsible for managing multi-functional teams in the business of consulting, designing, developing, training and supporting digital transformation and digital marketing solutions for our clients around the world!</p>
<p><strong><br></strong><strong>You will have the opportunity to</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage multiple complex projects concurrently</li>
<li>Work closely with strategists, developers, architects, product managers, designers, and the client's representatives to define the direction, approach and requirements to project manage the discovery, design and execution</li>
<li>Participate in the pre-sales process (opportunity management, oversee and run pre-sales teams to create responses to RFPs, estimates, etc.)</li>
<li>Manage project budgets and maintain costs to remain within or under budget</li>
<li>Analyze profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization across projects</li>
<li>Determine project schedules, create detailed project plans and scope statements, and write status reports for each stage of the project</li>
<li>Estimate and track project costs, develop resource plans, and work to assess potential issues and risks</li>
<li>Define project management policies and ensure their implementation in all stages of a project</li>
<li>Develop impact assessments, statements of work, and other project documentation</li>
<li>Grow long-term relationships with clients and capitalize on “add-on” sales opportunities across projects while constantly seeking out new opportunities with existing clients</li>
<li>Provide leadership and guidance to all members of the project team and to other Delivery team members</li>
<li>Identify and provide recommendations for process improvement in the delivery of projects</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><br></strong><strong>Who you are</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>First and foremost, you are passionate about new technology, incredible with clients, and widely recognized for the depth of your Project Management skills</li>
<li>10+ years of Project Management experience in a digital agency, professional services or consulting environment, with a focus on managing large client-facing project teams and budgets</li>
<li>Comfortable working with clients and discussing technical and business requirements</li>
<li>Business analysis and requirements management experience an asset</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills, and are able to communicate project details </li>
<li>Able to estimate project costs, set deadlines, and effectively manage teams of professionals to meet deadlines</li>
<li>Experience managing projects with substantial logistics, complexity and budgets in excess of $1M</li>
<li>Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization</li>
<li>Preferably located in or close to Vancouver or Toronto</li>
<li>An excellent working background with Agile and Waterfall methodologies</li>
<li>A technical background with a solid understanding of, or hands-on experience with, software engineering, including experience in mobile development, web development or multi-tech platform implementation an asset</li>
<li>Understanding of client business requirements, and the ability to present them in a form which is comprehensible to business users and technical professionals</li>
<li>Fundamentally driven by ensuring good process and able to adapt different approaches and methodologies</li>
<li>Exceptional planning, organizational and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Able and keen to work in a very fast paced, growth environment</li>
<li>Interested in directly influencing the continued growth of Appnovation</li>
<li>Project Management and/or Scrum Master certifications are a plus</li>
<li>Ideally you have experience project managing health science related applications & solutions</li>
