Can you picture yourself making an effort to fight financial crime while contributing to a leading company in the FinTech world?</p> <p>We are looking for a Financial Crime Analyst to join our team. As part of the Financial Crime team you will be working closely with Compliance, Risk, Product and other Merchant Operations teams. You will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and preventing suspected money laundering, terror financing, and other fraudulent activities related to our acquiring and embedded financial services. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the integrity of our platform and ensuring a secure and trustworthy environment for our users.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor and investigate high-volume alerts across multiple risk channels, focusing on fraud patterns, money laundering red flags, and PEP/sanctions screening matches in real-time, meeting daily productivity (KPIs) and quality (QA) targets.</li> <li>Clearly document your analytical steps and baseline findings in Adyen’s internal case management tools, building robust audit trails.</li> <li>Assist in the development and optimization of processes, systems, and tools, suggesting improvements and enhancements as needed.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with the latest financial crime trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously enhance detection and prevention methods.</li> <li>Identify and escalate suspicious activity or sophisticated alerts to Senior Analysts&nbsp; or Second Line Compliance teams according to established operational workflows.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>1-4+ years of experience in AML, Fraud, or Screening at a financial institution or fintech company.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of fraud typologies, transaction monitoring methods, and KYC/CDD screening frameworks.</li> <li>Excellent analytical and writing skills being able to synthesize complex transactional flows into logical, professional investigative narratives.</li> <li>Willingness to make difficult decisions and quickly learn and iterate from these experiences - you are skilled at using data to drive decisions.</li> <li>You are able to work both on your own and with others, taking ownership where your knowledge is needed.
