  • Guide architectural decisions to support scalable, performant, maintainable systems.

  • Promote strong standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and engineering excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • 7 to 15 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including at least 1 year as a people manager or team lead.

  • Direct people-management experience, a strong individual contributor foundation, and the ability to stay hands-on through technical deep dives.

  • Proficiency with React, TypeScript, Python, and Kotlin or Go; familiarity with Java, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD.

  • Experience in early-stage startup environments and customer-facing product development, including work outside large, highly resourced technology companies.

  • A track record of mentoring engineers, leading by example, and integrating AI tools such as Claude or Cursor into workflows.

  • Based in the United States or Canada, able to work US time zones, and available for approximately 10% customer travel.
