About the Role

Join a customer-facing product engineering team building command-and-control and autonomy software for robotic and unmanned systems. You will help deliver cloud and edge capabilities that connect sensors, platforms, and intelligent decision-making in operational environments.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and optimize mission-critical software for autonomous systems.

  • Develop real-time services that process data from diverse sensors for state estimation and threat detection.

  • Build integrations with sensors, effectors, and autonomous platforms.

  • Develop AI- and LLM-enabled systems that support threat assessment and operational decisions.

  • Engineer reliable, scalable, and fail-safe systems for high-stakes environments.

  • Collaborate with robotics, hardware, sensing, and systems engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Four to ten years of hands-on backend or service-layer software engineering experience.

  • Experience owning backend services such as APIs, microservices, or middleware, and building real-time messaging between external systems.

  • Proficiency in Rust, Python, C++, or Java, with a technical degree in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, or a related field.

  • Professional experience in autonomy, robotics, drones, autonomous vehicles, or factory automation, along with experience shipping software from prototype to field use.

  • Practical software engineering experience beyond algorithm development, simulation, or ML research; exposure to LLM systems, AI agents, or toolchains is useful.

  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and eligible for security clearance.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $145,000 to $275,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
