Luzid solves this with an agentic orchestration platform that coordinates every phase of SAP transformation, capturing decisions, tests, and context as a byproduct of work already underway — building an organizational memory that accumulates across projects instead of resetting.

We're a team based in San Francisco and São Paulo, moving fast and already deployed with some of the largest SAP integrators in the world. We have reached >$3M ARR in 11 months and raised $21M in funding. The team comes from Stanford, Meta, Two Sigma, Microsoft, and NASA.

The Opportunity

Luzid is hiring a Solution Architect to lead SAP S/4HANA solution design on our platform. You have spent years inside S/4HANA programs — planning them, architecting them, and defending the design in front of the customer. You know exactly which parts of that job are judgment and which parts are grinding out documents, configuration write-ups, and test scripts.

We are building software that does the grinding part. We need someone who knows the difference well enough to teach a product where the line is. This role is half customer-facing solution architecture, half shaping what we build.

What You'll Do

• Architect real S/4HANA solutions: lead the design on brownfield conversions to Private Cloud and greenfield builds on Public Cloud — fit-to-standard, clean core and extensibility calls, landscape strategy, and integration to everything around the core.

• Be the person in the room: run fit-to-standard and design workshops, and hold the line on the decisions that keep a program deliverable.

• Teach the product what a program actually is: define how Luzid represents scope, global template, configuration, deliverables, and the dependencies between them.

• Bring the PMO discipline in with you: phase gates, multi-wave rollout plans, RAID, cutover and hypercare, and steering-committee reporting.

• Set the bar for what we generate: decide what “good enough to hand to the client” means for specs, configuration rationale, and test scripts — and how we prove the AI hit it.

• Shape the AI where it touches SAP: work with engineers on configuration extraction, test generation, impact analysis, and documentation.

• Write specs, not slides: with Product Management, define acceptance criteria and pressure-test whether what we build survives contact with a real program.

• Raise the level around you: mentor solution consultants and engineers, and establish design principles that outlast you.

What We're Looking For

• You have run S/4HANA programs, not just worked on them: Activate gates, work breakdown and estimation, scope and change control, RAID, multi-vendor and offshore governance, cutover and hypercare.

• You have owned end-to-end solution architecture: core modules, global template design, fit-to-standard, clean core, extensibility (BTP, CAP, RAP), and integration surfaces (IDoc, BAPI, OData, CPI, Datasphere).

• You have done both deployment models: brownfield conversion to Private Cloud under RISE, and greenfield on Public Cloud with real fit-to-standard discipline.

• You have delivered globally: multi-country, multi-entity programs with global template governance and distributed teams across time zones.

• You are credible in front of a customer: workshops, design reviews, deployment-model advisory, and executive conversations.

• You have owned the artifacts a program is judged on: functional and technical specs, configuration documentation, process design documents, and test strategy.

• You have worked at a global SI: Accenture, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Cognizant, Wipro, PwC, or similar.

• Language: excellent written and spoken English.

• Nice to have: time in both a product company and an SI; a clear view on brownfield vs. greenfield and Private vs. Public Cloud; industry depth in manufacturing, CPG, life sciences, retail, or logistics; ALM/test tooling (SAP Activate, Signavio, Solution Manager/Cloud ALM, Tricentis, Worksoft); certifications (SAP Certified Solution Architect, PMP, PRINCE2, TOGAF); hands-on exposure to AI tooling; cloud architecture at scale (AWS, Azure, GCP); familiarity with compliance regimes (SOX, GxP, GDPR).
