About the Role

Lead a core banking product area at a Series C fintech serving small businesses. You will shape payment experiences, account services, platform reliability, and customer security, making complex financial products simpler and more trustworthy.

What You'll Do

  • Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution across deposit accounts, money movement, cards, and banking infrastructure.

  • Improve the end-to-end experience for account opening, funding, deposits, ACH, wires, transfers, bill pay, and card transactions.

  • Partner with Engineering on the ledger, payment rails, and card systems that power these experiences.

  • Use customer research and usage data to identify opportunities through a rigorous, cohort-based discovery process.

  • Write clear product specifications, define success metrics, and ship reliable, secure features with Engineering and Design.

  • Build risk, fraud, security, and regulatory needs into product development in partnership with Risk, Compliance, and Legal.

  • Manage product relationships and integrations with banking partners and third-party vendors.

  • Track activation, engagement, retention, multi-product adoption, and reliability metrics.

What We're Looking For

  • Product management experience appropriate to a senior role, with the source indicating a 5 to 15 year experience range.

  • Strong experience with non-card payments and money movement, including ACH, wire transfers, or RTP.

  • Practical understanding of payment rails and ACH return reasons; card payments experience alone is not sufficient.

  • Demonstrated banking product experience, including familiarity with backend systems and collaboration with backend engineers.

  • Experience working with agentic tooling.
