Java Developer

TCS is seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer to enhance the e-commerce experience for professional customers purchasing regulated healthcare products. This role will design and support robust, scalable, and secure Java solutions while enabling seamless integration across SAP, Salesforce (SFDC), enterprise integration platforms, third-party rewards platforms, and related business systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial Marketing, Customer Service, and Core Services, to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions and improve the end-to-end ordering experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications for an enterprise e-commerce checkout platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Implement data capture mechanisms for customer and patient information during checkout.
• Integrate applications with external systems such as SAP, Salesforce, rewards platforms, and other enterprise services.
• Ensure secure handling of sensitive information, including order confirmations and patient records.
• Monitor and optimize system performance using operational reports and analytics.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to the ordering process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Proficiency with relational database systems, including MySQL or Oracle.
• Proficiency in Hibernate ORM.
• Experience with WebLogic Server, the Struts Framework, JSP/Servlets, XML, and EJB.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
