Infrastructure Security Specialist

JOB PURPOSE:

The Infrastructure Security Specialist is a subject matter expert responsible for both the deployment ("Build") and ongoing operation ("Run") of solutions focusing on identity management, privileged access and the gatekeeper of our network security. Key operational ("Run") responsibilities for this role within the Infrastructure Security team include:

• Executing routine identity lifecycle management tasks.
• Managing exceptions related to network security policies.
• Troubleshooting infrastructure supporting privileged access.
• Ensuring the maintenance of secure hybrid cloud connectivity for both internal and external users.

Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring compliance through regular internal and external audits of all deployed solutions.

JOB SCOPE/DIMENSIONS

• User number: 12 000 IT users
• Server number: 2400 owned
• On premise Active Directory
• SSO, IAM, PAM, Web Filtering, Audit
• Hybrid cloud / applications

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Manage the end-to-end identity lifecycle for internal employees and external contractors. Create and modify Active Directory and Okta accounts, manage Organizational Units (OUs), and assign specific security group memberships
• Network Security & Firewall Operations: Administer website whitelisting and bypass exceptions for the Prisma Explicit Proxy. Manage and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewall rules, port openings, and network flows for critical business applications.
• VPN & Remote Connectivity: Provision, configure, and troubleshoot Global Protect VPN access for users and third-party vendors requiring secure entry to the corporate network
• Certificate Management: Generate, sign, and deploy SSL certificates (CSRs) for internal servers, external portals, and network appliances.
• Core Infrastructure Support: Assist with routine infrastructure tasks including DNS record modifications, subnet mappings in AD Sites & Services, and DHCP administration.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience requirements:

Essential:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
• At least 5 years experience of exposure to both in-house or outsourced systems, multiple hardware platforms, and integrated information management systems
• Expertise in domain management, identity, privileged access and Network Security Operations
• Maintain security end-to-end including firewall ruling necessary to any authentication activities
• Fluent or native English speaker

Desirable

• Palo Alto FW /Panorama/ Prisma Access
• Project Management experience (V cycle or Agile)
• Process/Procedure/SOP developments
• Good troubleshooting and support skills (ITSM/Service Now, RCA)
