We are seeking a highly motivated and outcome-driven Medical Affairs Technical Product Owner to join our LATAM High Performing Team (HPT) organization based in São Paulo.
The Technical Product Owner will be accountable for maximizing product value by translating business needs into a prioritized product backlog, enabling technology teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and customer-centric solutions.
The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator who combines business acumen, product management expertise, and technical understanding to drive strategic outcomes. This role will act as the primary link between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and enterprise functions, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities while fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, continuous improvement, and customer focus.

- Shape the squad vision and steer delivery toward measurable customer and business impact.
- Define and communicate product priorities, objectives, key results (OKRs), success measures, and value-realization expectations.
- Make transparent prioritization decisions that balance customer and business value, technical feasibility, cost, delivery capacity, risk, compliance, and technical debt.
- Ensure the delivery of measurable outcomes and continuous value realization rather than outputs alone.
- Create, refine, and prioritize epics, features, user stories, and enablers, with clear acceptance criteria and readiness for development.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, product demonstrations, and relevant squad ceremonies.
- Maintain an integrated release plan aligned with product priorities, dependencies, risks, technical feasibility, and delivery capacity.

- Actively remove blockers, facilitate timely decision-making, and optimize the flow of value.
- Define and monitor product, delivery, and team-level metrics, including sprint outcomes, blockers, flow indicators, release progress, quality, and value realization.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the squad, ensuring that product decisions address validated customer needs and business outcomes.
- Lead requirements-gathering activities with business stakeholders, engineering, user experience, and end users.
- Develop a strong understanding of product architecture, integrations, data flows, technical dependencies, and platform constraints.
- Collaborate with architects, lead engineers, engineers, cybersecurity, data, and platform teams to assess solution options and trade-offs before implementation.
- Drive the balanced management of technical debt and feature delivery while promoting platform stability, security, scalability, resilience, and performance.
- Support modernization initiatives, digital transformation programs, and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies.
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders, end users, technical teams, and external partners.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language and communicate product progress, value, decisions, risks, and dependencies proactively.
- Facilitate alignment across global, regional, and local stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
- Coordinate with other product squads to manage interdependencies, sequencing, shared capabilities, and synchronized delivery.
- Partner with product, engineering, and delivery leadership to identify squad capacity and capability needs, support resource planning, and facilitate onboarding.
- Coordinate with vendors and third parties to align commitments, dependencies, quality expectations, and delivery outcomes with squad objectives.
- Partner with product or platform team to communicate product value, roadmap direction, releases, and relevant changes to customers and stakeholders.
- Ensure product and platform solutions comply with applicable regulatory, security, privacy, quality, and records requirements.
- Support validation, audit readiness, traceability, and evidence-generation activities where required.
- Proactively identify product, delivery, operational, supplier, and compliance risks; define mitigation and escalation strategies.
- Ensure product information and documentation are accurate, current, accessible, traceable, and maintained throughout the lifecycle.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Promote evidence-based experimentation and a responsible fail-fast mindset, using measurable outcomes and customer feedback to validate assumptions and guide decisions.
- Drive process optimization and use data, analytics, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and emerging technologies to improve product outcomes.
- Use retrospectives, delivery insights, and stakeholder feedback to improve squad practices and product performance.
