Sobre a vaga
Vindler Solutions is a New York based AI consultancy building production systems for clients in the US and Europe. We run several AI engineering engagements at once, each with its own client, team and roadmap, and we are hiring a product manager to run them with us.
The projects look like this. A conversational AI product used by executives, live in production for over a year, with a small team shipping into it every week. A white-label voice and retrieval platform that a founder resells to his own customers, built from scratch in milestones. An embedded seat inside the AI engineering team of a European SaaS company. Different clients, different stages, the same questions every week: what matters most right now, what is blocking it, and does everyone involved know.
What you will do
- Be the client's main point of contact on each engagement you run. Understand their business, their product strategy and the pressure they are under, and bring that back to the team in a form engineers can act on.
- Turn what the client needs into a roadmap with milestones, and keep it honest as things change.
- Manage the tasks and dependencies across lanes: backend, frontend, data, evaluation, infrastructure, and the client's own teams. Know who is waiting on whom before they do.
- Run the weekly cadence with the client and with the team: priorities, demos, decisions, written follow-ups.
- Shape AI features with the engineers. You should know what retrieval, agents, evaluation and structured outputs are for, where they tend to fail, and what a good version of each looks like to a user, so that you can tell a real feature from a demo.
- Write the documents the client reads: scope notes, status reports, decision records, release notes. In English, clearly, with the numbers in them.
How we work
You join a small team of vetted senior engineers, each of them accountable for the systems they ship. The work is advanced AI applications in production, customer facing, for clients in the US and Europe. No prototypes, no proofs of concept that never meet a user.
We work with the newest AI tooling every day, and we expect you to. Every change is reviewed, every decision is written down, and the client reads what we write. The product manager is the person who makes sure what gets written down is the right thing, and that it was agreed with the client first.
What we are looking for
- Three or more years managing software products or projects with external clients or demanding internal stakeholders, including at least one where you owned the roadmap.
- Hands-on time with AI products: you have shipped or specified features built on LLMs, and you can talk about prompts, retrieval, evaluation and latency with engineers without slowing them down.
- Fluency in technical vocabulary. You will not write the code, but you will read pull request descriptions, architecture notes and incident write-ups and need to follow them.
- Written and spoken English good enough to run a client meeting alone and write the follow-up. This is mandatory, and the first interview is in English.
- Based in Brazil
