About The Role

Financial Crime Operations is at the forefront of Revolut’s efforts to keep customers and their money safe. Team members work directly with customers to resolve issues and flag potential concerns. Using cutting-edge technology and sharp attention to detail, they help prevent financial crime and keep trust at the core of Revolut.

We’re looking for a FinCrime Team Lead to make sure our AML Analysts are operating at the best quality performance. You'll use your solution-oriented approach to handle customer and agent issues and look to resolve them quickly and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing a team of 10–15 FinCrime Analysts
• Managing the daily performance of employees, ensuring productivity, quality, and adherence to SLA expectations
• Conducting regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews
• Challenging processes and procedures for continuous improvement
• Raising awareness of unusual trends in performance
• Seeking to go above and beyond the role by taking ownership of difficult problems, resolving ongoing issues, and being a leader in the workplace
• Acting as a point of contact for law enforcement agencies in ongoing criminal investigations that originated from a SAR
  
  

What You'll Need

• 4+ years of experience in AML/CTF compliance, financial crime investigation, or EDD roles
• 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and managing compliance teams of 5+ professionals
• A proven track record of monitoring team KPIs, quality assurance, and workflow distribution
• In-depth knowledge of global and local AML/CTF regulations, sanctions screening, and PEP monitoring
• Expertise conducting and reviewing enhanced due diligence for high-risk customers
• Experience filing suspicious activity reports to financial intelligence units
• Knowledge of AML, compliance, card disputes, or transaction monitoring
• An analytical mindset to evaluate complex corporate structures and beneficial ownership
• Fluency in English and Portuguese
