Descrição da vaga
Patria (NASDAQ: PAX) is a global alternative asset manager with 38 years of private markets history and approximately $62 billion in assets under management, operating from 14 offices across four continents. The firm is an industry leader in Latin America with a growing presence in Europe and North America, investing across Private Equity, Infrastructure, Credit, Real Estate, Public Equities, and Global Private Markets Solutions (“GPMS”).
About The Role
We are seeking a senior institutional sales professional to support the expansion of local fundraising efforts in Brazil. This individual will be responsible for developing and deepening relationships with institutional investors, identifying fundraising opportunities, and representing the firm’s alternative investment platform with credibility, technical depth, and strong commercial judgment.
The ideal candidate combines a proven institutional fundraising track record with strong emotional intelligence, autonomy, and the ability to navigate sophisticated and relationship-driven environments.
Main Responsibilities
- Be responsible, together with the Sales Brazil team, for local capital raising for Patria products, focusing on Pension Funds (EFPC), Insurance Companies, Development Banks, and supporting RPPS strategies via partners.
- Lead client meetings, due diligence discussions, roadshows, and follow-up processes independently
- Present the firm’s investment strategies with strong ownership, tailoring the commercial and investment narrative to each institutional client’s objectives and constraints.
- Actively monitor the market (peers and trends) to identify opportunities and risks in relation to the funds.
- Develop and update the area's prospect base according to the fundraising strategy.
- Support fundraising preparation: materials, documents, roadshows (geography and target list), due diligence, negotiation of terms.
- Help organize internal commercial processes, including event calendars, client coverage planning, pipeline tracking, and follow-up actions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including investment teams, PMO, product, legal/compliance, and marketing—to ensure high-quality and timely client deliverables.
- Ensure the integrity of the materials produced by the area.
- Monitor commercial KPIs and SLAs, proactively addressing gaps and improving execution.
- Support the development of junior team members through coaching, feedback, and hands-on guidance.
- Significant experience in institutional sales and fundraising with a focus on Brazilian Pension Funds and HNWI channels is essential.
- Strong understanding of the institutional investor landscape in Brazil, particularly pension funds; exposure to insurance companies, development banks, and RPPS is highly valued.
- Solid technical knowledge of investment funds, and the regulatory environment applicable to institutional investors. Knowledge of alternative-investment products is a plus.
- Experience managing complex, long-cycle sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, investment committees, governance structures, and due diligence requirements.
- Strong ability to articulate investment propositions and adapt product positioning to the requirements of institutional clients.
- Experience preparing and reviewing client-facing materials, coordinating internal workstreams, and managing commercial priorities with attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel independently on a regular basis.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.
