Senior Product Manager

We do this by combining beautifully designed smart hardware with powerful, intuitive software that gives people real control and insight into their home energy use.

Born between the US, Europe and Brazil, we’re building for a global challenge: the next generation of smart thermostats and energy devices that are affordable, interoperable, and ready for the future grid. We’ve recently raised US $5.2M in a seed-extension round, backed by leading climate and deep-tech investors, and are now expanding our product and design teams.

The Role

As our Senior Product Manager, you’ll decide what we build next and why, across a product that spans hardware, firmware, cloud, mobile apps and a subscription service.

You’ll work directly with Boldr’s CTO/CPO and the founding team, and you’ll help build and grow our product team as we scale.

Our product has to work for three customers at once: the HVAC contractor who installs it, the homeowner who lives with it, and the distributor in between. Your job is to make it work for all of them, and to prove it with data.

You’ll:

• Own the roadmap across hardware and software, turning field feedback, device data and business goals into clear priorities.
• Lead Boldr Care, our monitoring service that contractors sell to homeowners, from onboarding to subscription to retention.
• Write specs engineers trust: precise on edge cases, honest about unknowns, and clear about what’s out of scope.
• Define and track the metrics that matter (install success, contractor activation, Care enrollment, churn) and use them to make go/no-go calls.
• Get out in the field: talk to contractors, watch installs, and learn what happens after the product leaves our hands.
• Hire and mentor future PMs, and help shape how product works at Boldr.

We’re an early-stage startup, which means you’ll have real ownership and the freedom to shape both our product and culture from day one.

About You

You might have been the first PM at a startup, led a product line at a scale-up, or founded something yourself.

What matters is that you’ve taken products from early stage to real paying customers, made hard prioritization calls, and care deeply about users.

We’re looking for:

• Fluent English (our customers, partners and team are global)
• 4+ years in product management, with a track record of shipping and measuring outcomes
• Comfort working across hardware and software, or the technical depth to earn the trust of firmware and cloud engineers
• Experience with B2B2C or channel-driven products, where the buyer, installer and user are different people
• Strong analytical skills; you’re comfortable in SQL and with making decisions from data
• Bonus: experience with subscription products, IoT, energy, smart home, or field service
• Curiosity, self-direction, and a startup mindset, no task too big or small

Education doesn’t matter that much to us. Your track record and mindset do.
